Shoshana Bean is playing the Apollo!
That's right, the Broadway veteran and acclaimed solo vocalist will belt to high heavens on Monday, July 30 (7:30pm) at the legendary Apollo Theatre. The concert will feature Bean and a 18 piece big band performing a carefully-selected collection of standards, classics and modern favorites, while still including a few Bean-penned gems, plus a special appearance by Cynthia Erivo.
SHOWTIME AT THE APOLLO is a one-hour weekly series, featuring Emmy Award-winning personality Steve Harvey as host. Set to debut during the 2017-2018 season, it is a reimagining of the classic talent showcase series. Featured in the series are elements from the Apollo's legendary Amateur Night – the long-running, live talent competition, now in its 82nd year – which provides a platform for up-and-coming artists to perform in front of the toughest audience in the world.
Atlantic recording artist Flo Rida has released the new video for his most recent single, “Sweet Sensation.” The video follows on the heels of additional single, “Dancer” – the video for which already boasts over 5.7 million views. Earlier this spring marked the historic 10th anniversary of Flo Rida's debut album “Mail On Sunday,” which featured smash hit “Low.” Flo reflected on this landmark moment in an in-depth interview with Billboard. To celebrate this milestone, March 26th was “Flo Rida Day” in the rapper's native Miami, FL. “Sweet Sensation” and “Dancer” are the follow up singles to bilingual hit “Hola” featuring Maluma – the video for which has amassed over 115 million views. Flo Rida rounded out an all-star 2017 with an appearance at the 18th annual Latin Grammy Awards as well as a performance of “Hola” during the 2017 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Flo Rida also performed “Hola” along with “Low” at his pre-recorded performance on Showtime At the Apollo.
SHOWTIME has released the trailer for the new docu-comedy series centered around popular UK comedian Romesh Ranganathan, JUST ANOTHER IMMIGRANT. The 10-episode, half-hour series will air back-to-back episodes on Fridays beginning on June 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Today, 17 October 2017, Adrienne Warren was announced by Tina Turner as the actor who will portray her in the world premiere of the new musical TINA. Directed by Phyllida Lloyd, TINA will open at the Aldwych Theatre in April 2018. Performances will begin on 21 March 2018 with press night on 17 April 2018. Produced by Stage Entertainment, TINA is currently booking to 16 June 2018.
