On Monday night, Tony nominee and Broadway's original Annie, Andrea McArdle, joined the cast of NEWSical The Musical. The ever-evolving musical of all the news that's fit to spoof welcomed celebrity gossip guru Perez Hilton last month as the show's inaugural guest star. Ms McArdle joins the cast through December 2nd. ELF returns to Broadway this holiday season at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street). Performances began on Friday, November 9, 2012. The Original Broadway Cast Recording of Bring It On: The Musical will be produced by Ghostlight Records and available on Back Lot Music, and available for digital download on iTunes now and in stores October 16, 2012. The cast of Bring It On recorded the album at MSR Studios in New York City on August 9, 10 and 16, 2012 under the direction of Album Producers Alex Lacamoire, Tom Kitt and Kurt Deutsch. Fast food restaurant Chick-Fil-A has been taking a lot of heat in recent days for admitting their anti-marriage equality stance. Today at Chick-Fil-A's across the country, the chain celebrates it's own 'Appreciation Day,' at which customers can show their support of the company and their thoughts on 'traditional marriage.'

On Monday night, Broadway Stands Up for Freedom, the annual benefit concert of the New York Civil Liberties Union (the state-affiliate of the ACLU), was presented at the NYU Skirball Center for Performing Arts.
