This spring Juan Wauters released his captivating new album Introducing Juan Pablovia Captured Tracks. Today he is announcing his first full North American tour in support of the LP. The dates kick off September 27 at Brooklyn's Knitting Factoryand conclude October 23 at BSP in Kingston, NY. At San Diego Comic-Con, Sir Patrick Stewart treated 'Star Trek' fans attending the 'Star Trek' Universe panel to the first trailer for STAR TREK: PICARD and shocked the audience by bringing out surprise guests and 'Star Trek' icons Brent Spiner, Jeri Ryan and Jonathan Del Arco, announcing they will be appearing in STAR TREK: PICARD. In addition to the surprise guests, it was revealed that 'Star Trek's' Jonathan Frakes and Marina Sirtis will make appearances in the new series as well. During the panel, it was also announced that STAR TREK: PICARD will premiere in early 2020 exclusively on CBS All Access in the U.S.

Wrapping up the Encores! Off-Center season is  Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman's Road Show, running July 24-27. Directed and choreographed by Will Davis, with music direction by James Moore, Road Show tells the somewhat true story of the Mizner brothers who inherit a small fortune at the turn of the 20th Century and set out to grab their piece of the American Dream in a country where anything seems possible. The production will star Chuck Cooper (Papa Mizner), Raul Esparza (Wilson Mizner), Jin Ha (Hollis Bessemer), Mary Beth Peil (Mama Mizner), and Brandon Uranowitz (Addison Mizner).

Pop singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson today released the music video for her debut single “Missing You,” from Stranger Songs – a unique album inspired by Netflix's pop culture phenomenon, Stranger Things. The video was directed by Daniel Carberry and the song was co-written with Jesse Thomas (Louis Tomlinson, Martin Garrix) and co-written and produced by Sam de Jong (Marina, Little Mix, CYN).

The musical is set to open 21 July, 2019 with a closing night currently set for 11 August, 2019.

Written by Americas most-popular playwright, Lauren Gunderson, and set during the French Revolutions Reign of Terror, The Revolutionists tells the story of an unlikely alliance between four historical, iconic women. Directed by Gulfshore Playhouse Founder and Producing Artistic Director Kristen Coury, the French fantasy takes the stage Jan. 12 to Feb. 3.

Anton Chekhov's classic 1898 play, 'Uncle Vanya' comes to the stage at Western Connecticut State University this month. Presented by the university's Department of Theatre Arts, the show runs through October 21st. It takes place in the Studio Theatre of the Visual and Performing Arts Center on the university's Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Extension in Danbury. General admission is $20.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre presents A Doll's House, Part 2, written by Lucas Hnath and directed by Les Waters, which begins previews on Thursday, September 6 and runs through Sunday, October 21.
