On Sunday February 23 at Joe's Pub, BroadwayWorld.com celebrated the best New York cabaret performers, performances and shows during 2013 as voted on by more than 7,500 fans at the end of last year. With BroadwayWorld's lead New York cabaret columnist and reviewer Stephen Hanks as the host, many of the Award winners appeared to perform, and as you'll see in these videos they put on an amazingly entertaining show.

We reached out to Associate Producer and Director Mark Demeter to see if we could access the interview, who happily complied! BroadwayWorld.com is very excited to announce that we will be returning to Joe's Pub at the Public Theater in 2014, kicking off a year-long celebration of the community and our 10th anniversary with regularly scheduled concerts, live streams and special events in a BIG way. The concert series will launch on January 20, 2014 with BROADWAYWORLD VISITS OZ, directed by Richard Jay-Alexander and with music direction by Mary-Mitchell Campbell. The first-ever BroadwayWorld.com New York Cabaret Awards show was held at the Metropolitan Room on Thursday, February 21. The evening featured a star-studded lineup, including Marilyn Maye, Ben Vereen, Jim Caruso, composer Jason Robert Brown and cabaret stars Billy Stritch, KT Sullivan, Karen Kohler, Colleen McHugh, Jane Monheit and more. Broadway's Eden Espinosa, Jane Monheit, and Christiane Noll performed 'Always' by Scott Alan in a tribute to Sandy Hook Elementary and the people of Newtown, Connecticut, from the Broadway and New York theatre community. Click below to watch.

Eden Espinosa, Jane Monheit, Christiane Noll and Scott Alan were supposed to perform Alan's song 'Always' at the 'Broadway Blows Back' concert, raising funds for victims of Hurricane Sandy. The producers decided to move the performance back to December 10th, which Alan was unable to attend, so the group has recorded the song to promote the upcoming concert. Watch the video below, and check out the benefit event on the 10th!

When NateKid began the process of laying down the track for April Showers who else could he get to do this duet with him but the incomparable Alan Cumming (The Good Wife, X2, Golden Eye, Spy Kids, Smurfs). Alan lent his unique voice which has had fans of the Broadway stage swooning for years to NateKid's smokey baritone and together they created a heartfelt and moving rendition of April Showers.
