With the support of Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS (http:www.broadwaycares.org) and in partnership with When We All Vote (www.whenweallvote.org), stars of Broadway have come together to form #BeltTheVote, a nonpartisan social media campaign encouraging all people to register and vote - most urgently on November 6th.  The nationwide movement, made up of theaters, schools and various artistic communities, is dedicated to giving America's theater lovers the information and tools they need to get out to the polls and vote.

The New York Lottery and McCann New York have teamed up to create a new ad showing that the odds of falling in love with a stranger on the street are even smaller than winning the lotto. The commercial, composed by Be More Chill's Joe Iconis, shows a young couple who meet crossing the street. They proceed to sing a romantic song about how great they are for each other before realizing they just don't have much in common.

Just last night, The Public Theater celebrated its Annual Gala, HAIR TO HAMILTON, 50 Years of Revolutionary Musicals, at the Delacorte Theater. Directed by Daniel Sullivan, with musical direction by Rob Fisher and Nadia DiGiallonardo, the 90-minute concert featured songs from The Public's most beloved and groundbreaking musicals performed by some of the most celebrated voices in theater. Keen Company's new production of Jonathan Larson's Tick, Tick... BOOM!,  is now playing at the Acorn Theatre at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues) . The show will continue through November 20th only.

The Public Theater's production of David Byrne and Alex Timbers' smash hit musical, Here Lies Love, begins performances on April 14th with an opening night set for May 1st at The Public Theater's LuEsther Hall for an open-ended commercial run.
