Journey to the past with some newly released footage from this summer's premiere Hartford Stage run of the new Broadway musical, Anastasia. 

After a sold-out concert in 2013, Jonathan Larson and Mary Rodgers/Lorenz Hart Award winners Charlie Sohne & Tim Rosser came back to the Feinstein's/54 Below stage for the first time in over 2 years. Audiences heard selections from some of their latest projects including Run Away Home, Talk To Me, The Boy Who Danced on Air, and their new slash fiction boy band pilot Truth Slash Fiction.

After four previously sold out shows, Broadway's Cinderella, Tony nominee Laura Osnes and music director Benjamin Rauhala returned to host The Broadway Princess Party at Feinstein's/54 Below. The all-star cast sang the most beloved 'Princess' songs of stage and screen in a magical evening. Where else might a little mermaid duet with a beautiful bookworm? Or might an ice queen drink tea with a princess who keeps only dwarves for company? Might the princess with a lost glass slipper confide in a princess who lives in a tower, with the longest of hair? Anastasia will be led by Christy Altomare and Derek Klena. Klena and Altomare have worked together before in the revised production of CARRIE off-Broadway, directed by ALLEGIANCE's Stafford Arima. Today we're looking back on that production with a video of Altomare and Klena singing 'You Shine' from the CARRIE cast recording release event.

After six long years, the wait is finally over! The musical web series THE BATTERY'S DOWN, which wrapped up its final season in late 2009, has returned for a reunion special (which aired on Hulu earlier this week) and a Joe's Pub concert, with performances from original cast members (and some very special guests). Virginia's Signature Theatre is currently presenting the world premiere of Diner, the musical adaptation of the landmark film with a book by the movie's Academy Award®-winning screenwriter and director Barry Levinson (Rain Man, Bugsy, The Natural) and an original score by nine-time Grammy Award® winnerSheryl Crow. Directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award® Winner Kathleen Marshall (Broadway's Anything Goes, Nice Work If You Can Get It), the production begins performances at Signature Theatre's MAX Theatre December 9. It will play for six and a half weeks, through January 25. Klendez is at it again! Stafford Arima just directed a a holiday music video featuring Broadway favorites Lindsay Mendez and Derek Klena. The song, 'I Got All I Need (This Christmas)' was written by Lynne Shankel and was shot at Joe's Pub and around the city. 54 Below just welcomed SHANKTUNES- an evening of original songs by Drama Desk-nominated orchestrator/arranger Lynne Shankel. Lynne was joined onstage by some of New York's finest talent for a fun-filled evening of her blend of pop, R&B, swing and musical theatre. ShankTunes featured songs from the recent Off-Broadway production of bare, as well as premieres of brand new songs. The evening was directed by Stafford Arima. Marion (Big Fish, Evita, Ghost) will host a new web-series with Hollywood style expert Erin McSherry (Jesse Tyler Ferguson, 50 Cent, Sofia Vergara), along with Tony Award-winning theater veteran Nick Demos (Memphis). The Broadway Fashion Report will cover the red carpet looks of the 2014 Tony Awards, as well as opening nights of the upcoming 2014-15 Broadway season.
