The Muny is presenting a very good production of GODSPELL that's buoyed by a talented and energetic cast. Even if you're not a particularly religious person, you'll still find plenty to appreciate in this family-friendly show.

Broadway in South Africa will be the featured entertainment for tonight's opening dinner for the US Fund for UNICEF's 2009 Annual Meeting entitled 'Believe in Zero.' CNN's Anderson Cooper, of Anderson Cooper 360, is the guest speaker. The event takes place tonight, Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 6:30 p.m at the Altman Building, 135 West 18th Street.

Tony Award nominee Gavin Creel (Thoroughly Modern Millie) and 'American Idol' finalist Diana DeGarmo (Hairspray) will star in the new Broadway production of GODSPELL. The first Broadway revival of the landmark rock musical will officially open on Broadway at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street) on Thursday, October 23, 2008. Previews will begin on Monday, September 29, 2008.
