Bick Goss and Frank Evans, Producing Artistic Directors, and Stephen Hanks, Board President of Musical Mondays Theater Lab, Inc. have announced that the organization's second new musical preview of the fall 2011-2012 season will be the premiere of SPOOLIE GIRL on Thursday, November 17th at 6:30 PM at the Jerry Orbach Theater in the Snapple Theater Center, 210 West 50th Street.

Based on an astounding, outrageous, and haunting true story, two-time Tony nominee Mary Testa (Guys and Dolls, Xanadu, 42nd Street) stars as Anna Edson Taylor, who, in 1901, set out to be the first woman to shoot Niagara Falls, in a barrel of her own design. The Laurie Beechman Theatre is very pleased to present Broadway's Teri Ralston (COMPANY, A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC) in a special encore performance of her brand new show, SONGS I'VE GROWN INTO, FROM ROY ROGERS TO SONDHEIM. Ms. Ralston will appear for one night only, Wednesday, October 19 @ 9:30pm. There is a $20 cover charge, as well as a $15 food/beverage minimum (a full dinner menu is available). For reservations, which are necessary, please call 212 695 6909. The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located within The West Bank Cafe, 407 West 42nd St., in the heart of New York's Theatre district.

Queen of the Mist begins performances Tuesday, October 18 at The Gym at Judson Memorial Church in anticipation of a November 6 opening. Queen of the Mist stars D.C. Anderson (The Phantom of the Opera, The Life Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby), Stanley Bahorek (See Rock City & Other Destinations, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Theresa McCarthy (Titanic, Floyd Collins), Julia Murney (Wicked, The Wild Party, First Lady Suite), Andrew Samonsky (South Pacific, Tales of the City), Tally Sessions (The House of Blue Leaves, Yank!), and Mary Testa (On The Town, Marie Chrtistine, Xanadu, 42nd Street). The production was created by Michael John LaChiusa and directed by Jack Cummings III and choreographed by Scott Rink.
