From the chic cocktail reception, to the spectacular performance, the lavish dinner and the elegant VIP after-party, Broadway in the Berkshires, Shakespeare & Company's Benefit Celebration was a smash hit! Monday evening Artistic Directors Ariel Bock and Jonathan Croy welcomed a full house at The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center in Great Barrington. Broadway actor and three-time Emmy Award- Winner Dick Cavett hosted the one-night-only Benefit Performance with verve and witty repartee, and even offered audiences a 60 second lesson in moonwalking. Proceeds from the event benefit the Company's wide-reaching and nationally recognized Training and Education programs.

Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Tony Nominee Laura Osnes Makes Provincetown Debut This Weekend

Two Time Tony Nominee and star of Broadway's 'Cinderella' Laura Osnes will make her Provincetown debut tonight, June 27 and tomorrow, June 28 at 7:00 PM as she launches the star-studded 2015 Broadway @ The Art House season, with Sirius XM star Seth Rudetsky as pianist and host.

The Saugatuck Center for the Arts' Mason Street Warehouse (400 Culver Street) kicks off its professional summer theatre season with the gritty glamour and glitz of Cabaret. This updated version of the popular Broadway production opens at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts tonight, June 26 at 8:00p.m. and runs through Sunday, July 12.

Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Opens Season with All-Star CANDIDE Tonight

Baltimore, Md. (March 23, 2015) - For the conclusion of the 2014-2015 season, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) and Music Director Marin Alsop lead the BSO premiere of Leonard Bernstein's comedic operetta Candide tonight, June 11 at the Music Center at Strathmore, and June 12 through June 14 at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. The BSO announced today that the semi-staged production of Candide will be directed by Garnett Bruce and features an all-star cast including Peter Sagal, the host of NPR's weekly current events quiz show "Wait Wait…Don't Tell Me," and Judy Kaye, Tony Award-winning star of The Phantom of the Opera. Rounding out the cast are Keith Jameson, Lauren Snouffer, Joshua Hopkins, Mark Diamond, Marie Lenormand, Stephanie Sadownik, Curtis Bannister, Patrick Cook, Andrew McLaughlin, Melissa Wimbish and Lewis Shaw.

Chicago Philharmonic to End 25th Season with A VISION IN SOUND, 6/7

In the final concert of its 25th Anniversary season dedicated to the five senses in music, the Chicago Philharmonic presents a program based around the venerable sense of sight. A Vision in Sound -- at Pick-Staiger Hall on June 7, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. -- will feature both old and new musical works as well as lithographs inspired by the evening's music. Artistic Director Scott Speck conducts.

Chicago Philharmonic Releases Schedule of Upcoming 2015-16 Season

Chicago, IL – (April 16, 2015) The Chicago Philharmonic announces its 2015-16 season, Chasing the Sun: Transitions and Transformations. The season explores works written by composers at moments of significant change in their lives or careers. Scott Speck leads the orchestra in his third season as artistic director. “With a beloved masterwork, a virtuoso soloist, and a 21st century composer represented on every concert, the Chicago Philharmonic continues its adventures in direct, urgent, truly relevant music-making,” said Speck.
