This epic theatrical triumph takes audiences on a three-hour journey exploring nearly two centuries of the Lehman family from their humble beginnings to the devastating failure of a financial institution that would bring the global economy to its knees. 

 Philadelphia-based Arden Theatre Company announced the extension of its third production of the 2023/24 season, the world premiere of Ladysitting.

Arden Theatre Company's mission is to bring great stories by great storytellers to the stage, in the classroom, and the community and the theatre's 36th season seeks to exemplify that mission.

Arden Theatre Company is bringing audiences back into the world of August Wilson's ten-part series, The American Century Cycle. This time audiences will journey to Pittsburgh in the late 1990s for the final play of the cycle, August Wilson's Radio Golf. This bittersweet drama of assimilation and alienation in nineties America traces the forces of change on a neighborhood and its people caught between history and the twenty-first century. This is the fifth play in the cycle that the Arden has produced.  Kash Goins, who was an actor in the Arden's production of Two Trains Running, returns to direct. August Wilson's Radio Golf runs March 23-April 16.

Arden Theatre Company will extend the Philadelphia premiere of  Lynn Nottage’s Clyde’s through March 12.

The Arden Theatre Company is pleased to announce their highly-anticipated return of Arden Children’s Theatre for their 2022-2023 season.  The company has a long-standing tradition of presenting professional, high-quality productions for youth, and their programming for the season features the return of a family favorite, plus a show new to Arden audiences.

The Arden Theatre Company’s long-time affiliation with the works of Stephen Sondheim continues this summer as the company prepares a new production of his well-known musical INTO THE WOODS. Featuring music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by James Lapine, the show – which explores the journey to the fairy tales’ happy ending and the responsibilities that come with happily ever after–will play the F. Otto Haas Stage from June 2 through July 3, 2022.
