The upcoming Broadway revival of Sylvia, a play by two-time Pulitzer Prize-nominee A.R. Gurney (The Dining Room, Love Letters), directed by Tony Award-winner Daniel Sullivan (Proof) has just announced its rush policy, BroadwayWorld has confirmed.

Des Moines Performing Arts, in partnership with THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY national tour and the Madison County Chamber of Commerce, will host two special guests this weekend in Iowa's covered bridge capital. On Saturday, October 10, Elizabeth Stanley and Andrew Samonsky, who will star as Francesca Johnson and Robert Kincaid in THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY's upcoming national tour, will perform selections from the musical at the 46th Annual Madison County Covered Bridge Festival in Winterset, Iowa at 2 p.m. The performance will take place on the Mel Penrod Stage, located on the south side of the Iowa Courthouse Square. THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY, winner of the 2014 Tony Award for Best Original Score and Best Orchestrations, is famously set in Iowa and will launch its national tour at the Des Moines Civic Center November 28 - December 5.

Atlantic Theater Company presents the first production of its 30th anniversary season, the New York revival of multiple Obie Award winner Caryl Churchill's landmark play Cloud Nine, directed by Obie Award winner James Macdonald. Cloud Nine began previews September 16, officially opened last night October 5, and will play a limited engagement through Sunday, November 1, 2015 Off Broadway at Atlantic Theater Company's Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20 Street).

The box office for the highly anticipated production of THE COLOR PURPLE will open on Tuesday, October 6 at 10:00am at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45th street). 

The Alliance Theatre in Atlanta has announced they will be selling tickets to the Broadway transfer of TUCK EVERLASTING, which had its regional premiere at the Alliance earlier this year.

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that beginning Tuesday, November 3, the new hit musical, Finding Neverland, will change its performance schedule by adding a Sunday evening performance, which will replace the current Wednesday evening performance.

Producers Kevin McCollum, Doug Morris and Berry Gordy are proud to announce that single tickets forMOTOWN THE MUSICAL will go on sale today, Oct. 2, at 10 a.m. MOTOWN THE MUSICAL will play at the Saenger Theatre for a limited engagement from Jan. 19 -24, 2016. Presented by the New Orleans Theatre Association, the production is part of the East Jefferson General Hospital Broadway in New Orleans 2015 - 2016 season.     

Signature Theatre has announced casting is confirmed and tickets are now on sale for Night is a Room, written by Residency One playwright Naomi Wallace and directed by Bill Rauch. Night is a Room, the third and final production of Wallace's residency, runs November 3, 2015 to December 13, 2015 with a Sunday, November 22 opening night in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). In honor of next week's international holiday, World Egg Day, Something Rotten! will celebrate the inspiration for  Nick and Nigel Bottom's musical debut with a special morning of events at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street) next Tuesday, October 6.

The Huntington Theatre Company presents the world premiere production of A Confederacy of Dunces, adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher from the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by John Kennedy Toole, directed by David Esbjornson (Guess Who's Coming to Dinner and All My Sons) and featuring Nick Offerman of NBC's 'Parks and Recreation.'  Performances begin November 11, 2015 and will run through December 13, 2015 at the BU Theatre / Avenue of the Arts.
