 On November 19, Quintessence Theatre will continue its 16th season with The Pirates of Penzance, the beloved comic opera by W.S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan.

Evolving Door Theatre Company will present a reading of Dandelion: An Original Musical at Open Jar Studios in New York City on Tuesday, July 29 at 2:00 p.m. and Wednesday, July 30 at 4:00 p.m. The new musical explores the intersection of family, mental health, and resilience through a heartfelt, humor-laced lens.

The Green Room 42 will present Dandelion: An Original Musical with music and lyrics by Colleen Francis, book by Jessica Francis Fichter and Hailee Beltzhoover Zuniga, in Concert.

Audiences are being offered the chance to be a part of the development of brand-new musical, Bordello, The Musical with two public workshop performances this month at the Royal Academy of Dance, London. 

 The York Theatre Company will present developmental readings of Bordello, The Musical, with book by Barbara Bellman and Joan Ross Sorkin, music by Emiliano Messiez, lyrics by Barbara Bellman, music direction by Steven Gross and directed by Will Pomerantz.

Bordello, The Musical is set to have developmental readings at York Theatre Company on February 29 and March 1.

1st Stage will kick off the celebrated Logan Festival of Solo Performance with two outstanding productions by renowned opera singer, Lori Brown Mirabal.

1st Stage has announced its 2021-2022 season. The season will begin with a reimagined and expanded Logan Festival of Solo Performance. This engaging outdoor festival of incredible solo shows will be a collaboration between 1st Stage and the new mixed-use development The Boro located just blocks from 1st Stage.

The University of the Arts will present Promenade, book and lyrics by María Irene Fornés, music by Rev. Al Carmines, directed by Amy Dugas Brown, as part of the Ira Brind School of Theater Arts Spring 2021 remote season. The project will be available for viewing February 5 through February 14, 2021.
