EQUUS concluded its 22-week engagement as scheduled on Broadway on February 8th, 2009. The play opened in September 2008 at the Broadhurst Theatre, marking the Broadway debut of Daniel Radcliffe. Mr. Radcliffe starred in the revival of Peter Shaffer's play opposite Tony Award winner Richard Griffiths ('The History Boys'). The big question was always 'who'll replace Daniel on Broadway?'
A BRONX TALE Starring Chazz Palminteri Comes To Ford Center

Broadway In Chicago is thrilled to present A BRONX TALE, written by and starring Academy Award?-nominated actor Chazz Palminteri. This funny and touching memoir about a young man's experiences growing up in the Bronx during the 1960s will play at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre for a limited engagement March 10 - 22, 2009.
A BRONX TALE is produced by GO Productions. Set design is by James Noone, lighting design is by Paul Gallo, and original music and sound design is by John Gromada. Mr. Palminteri's wardrobe is supplied by Italian menswear designer ISAIA.

Cleese revealed to Weintraub that he is working 'in earnest' with his daughter Camilla on the stage musical adaptation of his classic film, 'A Fish Called Wanda'.
The comic legend hopes to have it finished in the next two to three years and debut it in San Diego with the hope of the production continuing on to Broadway and London's West End reports the website.

Stage and screen star Kristin Chenoweth, Tony Award winner for 'You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown,' and Tony Award nominee for originating the role of Glinda the Good Witch in 'Wicked,' will now perform her Benefit Concert at Westport Country Playhouse (Joanne Woodward and Anne Keefe, artistic directors, Jodi Schoenbrun Carter, managing director) on March 28th instead of the original date of February 7th, 8 p.m.

John Travolta and his wife, actress Kelly Preston, released a statement on Preston's official website on Sunday. Various news services are reporting that an autopsy on John Travolta's son is expected to commence on Monday in the Bahamas. One of Travolta's attorneys told reporters that it's likely Jett Travolta's body will be flown back to Florida where he will be buried. His mother is actress Kelly Preston, who's been married to Travolta since 1991.

Variety is reporting that HBO has signed on as a producer of Will Ferrell's upcoming Broadway show, 'You're Welcome America. A Final Night with George W. Bush'. The cable network is also set to air a live telecast of the show from Broadway, at a date to be named later. (It's assumed that it'll be from towards the end of the show's run).

Now going strong it's third, THE AFTER PARTY is billed as 'a weekly schmoozefest for the theatrically inclined.' Tonight Friday, December 12th, they welcome the cast of Prayer For My Enemy, including Tony Award winner Victoria Clark, Tony Award winner Michelle Pawk, Tony Award nominee Jonathan Groff, Skipp Sudduth, Theatre World Award winner Cassie Beck, and Zachary Booth. All will be in attendance and Jonathan Groff and Skip Sudduth will perform.
