What did our critic think of THE LEHMAN TRILOGY at Circuit Playhouse?

Playhouse on the Square, in partnership with Circuit Playhouse, Inc. Super Sponsor Dr. Thomas Ratliff and Show Sponsors Sharon Younger and Art & Nancy Graesser, presents The Lehman Trilogy by Stefano Massini, adapted by: Ben Power, running January 26th – February 11th at The Circuit Playhouse, Overton Square Performing Arts District.

Playhouse on the Square, in partnership with Gene and Carol Katz, Karen McCarthy, and Super Sponsor Dr. Thomas Ratliff, present Lisa Loomer's new play dedicated to the controversial Roe versus Wade decision.

At the turn of the nineteenth century Nora Helmer was the most controversial female character on the stage - walking out on her husband and children to find herself.  Now she returns to tie up loose ends and she must deal with what she left behind.  This spring, The Circuit Playhouse tells the complete story of the Helmers. 

Little Shop of Horrors is the first installment of The Playhouse on the Square Holiday Series of shows entitled Welcome to Show Row.

In the wake of rising Coronavirus cases in the Mid-South and safety measures imposed by the Shelby County Health Department, Playhouse on the Square's theaters will remain closed to  patrons.  However, art has its place during a national crisis. 

Although Playhouse on the Square will not be offering in-person performances during the holiday season.  There is a stocking full of digital offerings to keep patrons 'Merry & Bright' - and in the safety of their homes. 

Welcome Playhouse on the Square into your home for one of our favorite fundraisers of the year: The Great Wine Performances! And this year, they've gone virtual! Memphis' favorite drinking trivia game returns with a new look but the same exciting performers and world-class spirits you've come to expect.
