'From Broadway With Love: A Benefit Concert For Sandy Hook' will take place 7:00 pm tonight, January 28, 2013, at the Palace Theater in Waterbury, Connecticut. The evening will be a concert of love and healing for the Newtown community from the composers, musicians and more than 100 stars of Broadway together with over 100 students from several Newtown dance groups and the Newtown High School Chamber Choir. All proceeds and donations will go directly to United Way of Western Connecticut's Sandy Hook School Support Fund.
A few months ago, producers Hal Luftig and Scott Sanders announced that Grammy Award-winning international pop icon Ricky Martin as Che, Olivier Award-winning Argentinean actress Elena Roger as Eva Perón and Tony Award-winner Michael Cerveris as Juan Perón would play their final performance on Saturday, January 26, 2013. At that time, it was announced as well that the should would be announcing new stars and the production would be continuing its run. Later, they have revealed that the show will play its final performance on Saturday, January 26, tonight, after 26 previews and 337 regular performances.

Motherlodge Live Arts Exchange returns to Joe's Pub at The Public for a special one-night-only fundraiser for the organization curated by Michael Arthur (Balthrop, Alabama, Joe's Pub and La Jolla Playhouse's archival artist) and Motherlodge founder Ray Rizzo (drummer with Dawn Landes, Corporal and others). Motherlodge is a touring, presenting organization that creates space, or "lodges" in different cities where artists from different geographic locations can share what they do and work together to create new interdisciplinary artworks. Motherlodge's 'A Fleetwood Mac Orgy' at Joe's Pub promises to be a cosmos-shattering night of Broadway and downtown performers colliding with rockers from Brooklyn and Kentucky. The fundraiser will help pay for promotion, production costs, gas and lodging for artists who will join for the Motherlodge in Louisville at the end of March.
