Broadway Records celebrates their first ever Grammy nomination for the Original Broadway Cast Recording of the Tony Award winning MATILDA THE MUSICAL. Broadway Records released this cast album in conjunction with Yellow Sound Label. MATILDA THE MUSICAL was the third original cast album, sixteenth album overall, released by the two-year old record label dedicated to Broadway and Off Broadway-related recordings.

Laughing Dog Media has announced Broadway star and vocal powerhouse James Barbour'S Special Guest Artists at his Sixth Annual Holiday Concert. Stephen Wallem will join Mr. Barbour on stage tonight, December 7. Mary Testa will join Mr. Barbour on stage Thursday, December 12.

Due to strong demand, The Public Theater announced a fourth extension for the critically acclaimed world premiere musical FUN HOME, directed by Sam Gold and featuring music by Jeanine Tesori, with book and lyrics by Lisa Kron. Based on Alison Bechdel's graphic novel, FUN HOME will now run through Sunday, January 12. It was originally scheduled to close on November 3 but has been extended four times due to rave reviews and audience demand. In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, Michael Cerveris & Loose Cattle took to the stage in Broadway's living room at 54 BELOW. Despite public transportation and in the face of power outages, the band and fans braved the inclement conditions to revel in the beauty and spirit of live music. The Public Theater announced today that Emily Skeggs has joined the company as Medium Alison in the hit musical FUN HOME. Alexandra Socha, who originated the role, has left the show for personal reasons. The Public Theater has again extended the world premiere musical FUN HOME, directed by Sam Gold and featuring music by Jeanine Tesori, with book and lyrics by Lisa Kron. Based on Alison Bechdel's graphic novel, FUN HOME began performances on Monday, September 30 and was originally scheduled to close on Sunday, November 3. The musical will now run through December 15.
