Wadsworth Theatre Adds 'Princess Kaulani' to Stephen Farber Film Series, 5/3

Wadsworth Theatre has just added the film 'Princess Kaiulani' to the to the Spring schedule for 'Reel Talk with Stephen Farber', the film series at the Wadsworth Theatre. 'Princess Kaiulani' will be presented May 3 at 7 pm at the. Other titles previously announced include 'Mimics' on April 26 and 'Holy Rollers' on May 17.

Variety reports this morning that A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC helmer, Trevor Nunn, is set to direct a revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber's ASPECTS OF LOVE for London's Menier Chocolate Factory. Nunn directed the show's premiere in 1987, as well.

Following critical acclaim and popular demand, Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) has announced a three-week extension for the World Premiere of THIS, the new play by Obie Award winner Melissa James Gibson (Suitcase, [sic]). Directed by Obie Award winner Daniel Aukin ([sic], eight seasons as Artistic Director of Soho Rep), the production opened Wednesday, December 2. Originally set to run through Sunday, December 13, the limited engagement will now play through Sunday, January 3, 2010 at the theater company's Mainstage Theater (416 West 42nd Street). This date represents the latest extension possible for the show.

June 1 7pm at the Library Community Room Kelly Roberti will host an in depth interview with Adam, free to the public. June 5 & 6 8pm performances at Equinox Theatre, 2307 N. 7th (across the street from Murdochs). Each performance is $18 or $30 to attend both performances.
