The Literature to Life® program of The American Place Theatre (APT) will kick off its newest campaign, Project 451, with a celebrity gala May 17 and 18 in Theater at St. Clement's, 423 West 46th Street, Manhattan.

Perfect Crime, the longest-running play in the history of New York theater, celebrated its historic 22nd Anniversary and 9,000th performance with a two-day celebration April 17-18 2009. The event recognized Catherine Russell, star and general manager of Perfect Crime, for her record-breaking twenty two-year run in Perfect Crime and her induction into The Guinness Book of World Records.

The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will move from Broadway to Seventh Avenue for large portions of route. 'The new route will greatly expand the viewing space' of the famous parade, said Department of Transportation Commissioner Janette Sadik-Kahn.
