The annual Primary Stages Gala, a fundraiser benefiting the extensive artistic development programs offered by the company, will be held at the Edison Ballroom (240 west 47th Street, between Broadway & 8th Avenue) on Monday, November 1, 2010.

Ars Nova (Jason Eagan, Artistic Director; Jeremy Blocker, Managing Director) proudly announces a fall benefit concert celebrating composer Andrew Lippa (The Addams Family, The Wild Party, You?re A Good Man, Charlie Brown). The benefit concert will take place in the Ars Nova theater on Monday, November 22 at 7:00pm. Proceeds from the evening will help support Ars Nova?s extensive artistic development initiatives and programming. Tickets to the concert are scaled at $100 general admission, and $150 reserved admission, which includes priority seating and invitation to an exclusive artist cocktail party immediately following the performance in the Ars Nova Loft. Last night, October 25th, James Goldman and Stephen Sondheim's never-before-staged Evening Primrose took a one-night-only bow to benefit the St. George's Society of New York 's Anglo-American Cultural Awards at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College. The production starred Candice Bergen, John McMartin, Sean Palmer, Bill Duell, John Windsor Cunningham, and Jessica Grove. HUNTER RYAN HERDLICKA, who is currently appearing in Stephen Sondheim's critically acclaimed Broadway musical revival, A Little Night Music, will return to the Feinstein's stage for a special one night only engagement titled "I (Still) Happen to Like New York" at NYC's premiere night club, FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY on Monday, November 15th at 8:30 PM.

On Monday, October 25, an array of actors will take part in the second edition of Songs You've Never Heard and Shows You've Never Heard Of at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. Show time is at 9:30 PM.

On October 18th, Emmy nominee Connie Britton and Entourage's Carla Gugino hosted the internationally-acclaimed AFRICAN CHILDREN'S CHOIR as they performed at their annual New York City fundraising gala.

First reported by BroadwayWorld back in June when Menier Chocolate Factory Theatre's David Babani told the U.K. Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye that plans are in progress to produce Stephen Sondheim & John Weidman's ROAD SHOW at the venue. He's now confirmed the news to Variety and included the news that it'll play the theatre next summer.

Joining them performing are some of Broadway's best from shows including Wicked, Lion King, Promises, Promises, In the Heights and Memphis with more to be announced. The Music Director for the event is Mary Mitchell Campbell. As Cy Coleman's protégé and currently the Music Director for Addams Family on Broadway right now, she will be adding her talent to this night. The night will not only showcase performances, but also an auction to help raise funds for The African Children's Choir.

All proceeds from the night will benefit the Al D. Rodriguez Liver Foundation, which honors the close friend of Ramirez and Kressley, who was lost to liver cancer in 2008.

Most people will remember Carson Kressley from television's 'Queer Eye For The Straight Guy'. He was the more outrageous of the so-called Fab Five and was the show's fashion guru. Talking to him on the phone proved that he's not exactly like that. At least not nowadays. He proved to be genial, intelligent and much more of a sweetheart than anyone would expect from his television image. He was eager to chat about his background, his stage acting and his participation in 'Broadway Takes The Runway' which takes place on October 4th.
