Bristol Riverside Theatre Presents LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, Now thru 6/8

Bristol Riverside Theatre concludes its 2013-2014 season with the popular cult classic Little Shop of Horrors by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman today, May 6-June 8. Directed by Susan D. Atkinson, the ensemble cast features Berlando Drake, Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Laura C. Giknis, Nate Golden, Daniel Marcus, Andrew McMath, Candace Thomas, Danny Vaccaro, and Lindsey Warren.

PUMP BOYS AND DINETTES, AT THE HOP and More Make Up FST's 2014 Summer Season

Florida Studio Theatre presents an exciting new Summer Mainstage and Cabaret Season. The Mainstage kicks off with the foot-stomping musical Pump Boys and Dinettes, the humorous and inspirational drama Becoming Dr. Ruth, and the thought-provoking Taking Shakespeare. The Summer Cabaret Season will consist of At The Hop, by America's Premiere Doo-Wop group, The Alley Cats, Clearly Invisible: Magic Up Close with Carl Seiger, and Somewhere Over the Rose, The Songs and Stories of Judy Garland and Bette Midler.

Debra Jo Rupp Joins the Parker Playhouse WinterStage Series in Mark St. Germain's BECOMING DR. RUTH, Now thru 4/20

Broward Center for the Performing Arts and Matthew Lombardo present the Barrington Stage production of Becoming Dr. Ruth with Debra Jo Rupp as Dr. Ruth Westheimer at the Parker Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale from tonight, April 16 through Sunday, April 20. Tickets go on sale Friday, January 31for the acclaimed Mark St. Germain play, which is directed by Julianne Boyd and is part of the WinterStage Series at the Parker Playhouse. The production comes direct from New York and will be produced by Michael Alden, Stefany Bergson and Rodger Hess.

FST to Present 2014 RICHARD AND BETTY BURDICK NEW PLAY READING SERIES, 4/28-5/10

Florida Studio Theatre announces its annual Richard and Betty Burdick New Play Reading Series, which will present three new plays by contemporary American playwrights. The series will take place in the Keating Theatre on Monday, April 28 at 7:00pm, Monday, May 5 at 7:00pm, and Saturday, May 10 at 2:00pm, and is part of FST's Sarasota Festival of New Plays. Tickets for the series are 3 plays for $25, or individual play readings for $10. Additionally, FRIENDS of FST can purchase a subscription for all 3 plays for $15. Marg Helgenberger to Star in Barrington Stage's THE OTHER PLACE, 5/21-6/14

Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in Downtown Pittsfield, MA, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd and Managing Director Tristan Wilson, is proud to announce Emmy Award-winner and Golden Globe nominee Marg Helgenberger will star in the Berkshire premiere of Sharr White's The Other Place, kicking off BSC's 20th Anniversary Season, from May 21 through June 14 on the St. Germain Stage, directed by BSC Associate Artist Christopher Innvar.

Virginia Repertory Theatre revealed the new titles for the 2014/15 Season with a public announcement at the November Theatre last evening. The announcement marks Bruce Miller and Phil Whiteway's 40th season as Artistic Director and Managing Director. FST Extends FREUD'S LAST SESSION Through March 30

Due to popular demand, Florida Studio Theatre announces an extension of the Stage III production, FREUD'S LAST SESSION, by Mark St. Germain. The show will now run through March 30.
