 The Art Directors Guild (ADG, IATSE Local 800) Gallery 800 presents a special 12th anniversary exhibition of Art Unites 12, a dynamic mix of diverse artists' work from contributing IATSE Locals, opening on Saturday, January 12  from 5:00– 8:00 pm, with a hosted reception and live music featuring the “Do Drop In” jazz trio. Located in the heart of the famed NoHo Arts District, Gallery 800 showcases guild members' personal art in a series of shows throughout the year. Art Unites 12 will commence the 2019 Gallery 800 exhibition series, which is open to the public. According to an ASCAP analysis of streaming and terrestrial radio data, the hit classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” written by ASCAP songwriter Walter Afanasieff and pop star Mariah Carey, holds the #1 song position for the second year in a row. Theatre Arlington held its 45th Annual Stony Awards at 6:30pm on Sunday, September 24th, 2018, honoring actors, designers, directors, volunteers and community partners for excellence in the productions during the 2017-2018 45th anniversary season. Guests gathered at the theater for drinks before the show and were then treated to a fun, light-hearted show with Interim Executive Producer, Steven D. Morris serving as the Master of Ceremonies and Don Powers on the piano, with entertainment by some of Theatre Arlington's favorite performers: Nik Blocker, Dawn Prejean, Tevin Cates, Donovan Lawson, Emily-Kate Ivey, Daniel Hernandez and Ashlyn Nichols. Plus, an unexpected surprise visit by Spiderman! Afterwards, all gathered in the lobby for more celebrating with drinks and a reception, sponsored in part by Cooper Street Bakery. (more...)

?The Art Directors Guild's Gallery 800 (ADG, IATSE Local 800) presents A FAMILY OF ARTISTS, an exclusive mixedmedia exhibition featuring personal artwork of over 70 artists, at the exhibit opening and hosted reception on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. The public will have a unique opportunity to meet and mingle with the artists of the ADG and their families. The exhibit also celebrates the family of the IATSE guilds, welcoming members of the International Cinematographers Guild (IATSE, Local 600), the Animation Guild (IATSE, Local 839), the Affiliated Property Craftspersons (IATSE, Local 44), as well as artists who work in the motion picture and television industries and are connected in the shared experience of creating.  (more...)
