Sam Shepard's Pulitzer Prize winning drama, Buried Child, is now being performed at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey through October 7. Expertly directed by Paul Mullins and featuring an outstanding cast, the play honors Shepard's playwriting legacy with a production of his masterpiece that is beyond excellent.

Local theater-goers are familiar with the outstanding performance work of Dorothy Silver, often called 'the first lady of Cleveland theater.' Many are also aware of the creative writings of Jordan Harrison from his script development of the television hit, 'Orange is The New Black.' The two merge in Dobama Theater's masterful 'Marjorie Prime.'

The New Jersey Premiere of Playwright Dominique Morisseau's Obie Award winning play, 'Skeleton Crew' is now being presented by Premiere Stages at Kean University through Sunday, July 30th. Directed by the theater's Producing Artistic Director, John J. Wooten, this insightful show is a must-see production for metro area audiences.

It's a celebration! Houses on the Moon Theater Company (Emily Joy Weiner, CoFounder & Artistic Director; Kevin Connor, Managing Director) celebrated the Opening Night performance of the world premiere of The Assignment, an original play by Camilo Almonacid, developed by Houses on the Moon Theater Company, a co-production with Rhymes Over Beats, on Saturday evening, April 22, 2017 at the Jeffrey and Paula Gural Theatre at the A.R.T./New York Theatres (502 West 53rd Street).
