Broadway Kids came together as a community of young artists in painting ceramic butterflies with The Butterfly Project to show the world that we must never forget how big our voices are and that each one of us makes a difference and we must take care of one another. The event was held on Saturday, January 9 from 5:15 to 6 p.m. in the lobby of the Minskoff Theatre, home of Broadway's THE LION KING. Check out photos below!

Cabaret for a Cause will hold two shows on November 29th at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. Cabaret for a Cause was created in 2010 to bring together young professionals from Broadway, film and television to help others.

An ever-evolving artist, Calvert's latest project is a collaboration with two household names in jazz: Grammy¬ģ award-winning Ulysses Owens, Jr. (Producer/Drums) and Grammy¬ģ award-winning Laurence Hobgood (Arranger/Piano), renowned for their imagination and artistry. The end result is a collection of hits originally made famous by iconic male artists, re-imagined and sung from a woman's point of view. It's A Man's World gives Calvert a vehicle to soar, and soar she does.

Annabelle Gurwitch (Dinner and a Movie, You Say Tomato, I Say Shut Up, Fired!) is adapting her third book, the forthcoming memoir, I SEE YOU MADE AN EFFORT (Blue Rider Press, March 2014) into a theatrical property, following the success of her past two book to plays: You Say Tomato, I Say Shut Up and Fired! A sneak preview of the work in progress is scheduled for Nuyorican Poets Café (236 East 3rd Street) on November 12th at 9pm.
