TV Land announced today its line-up of small screen vets that will guest star on season two of the network's hit original sitcom, 'Happily Divorced,' which premieres on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 10:30pm ET/PT immediately following all-new episodes of 'Hot in Cleveland.'

Screen Actors Guild today announced the results of elections for its top two elected positions and National Board. Ken Howard has been re-elected for a second term as Screen Actors Guild president, and Amy Aquino will continue in her role as secretary-treasurer. Both will serve two-year terms, beginning September 25.

ABC Family has given a back-season order of 22 episodes to the network's one-hour original drama, 'Switched at Birth,' giving the break-out series a full first season order, Michael Riley, President, ABC Family has announced.
Fran Drescher and Charles Shaughnessy to Reunite on 'Happily Divorced'

Charles Shaughnessy ('The Nanny,' 'Mad Men'), who played Fran's employer-turned-husband in the popular sitcom, 'The Nanny,' guest stars as Gregory, a guy that both Fran and her ex-husband Peter (John Michael Higgins) want to date in the season finale of 'Happily Divorced.' To date, the series is averaging over 2.2 million viewers every week. Last week, 'Happily Divorced' was renewed for a second season of 12 episodes.

TV Land announced today that the network is moving forward with three sitcoms - two new series and a renewal for 'Retired at 35.' These series join 'Hot in Cleveland' which is now up to a 24 episode order for season three. These pick-ups take TV Land from zero to four scripted sitcoms within less than a year's time, along with several additional sitcoms in development.

ABC Family has cast Academy Award (R)-winner Marlee Matlin ('West Wing,' 'The L Word,' 'Children of a Lesser God') in a guest-starring role, and elevated newcomer Sean Berdy to a series regular in 'Switched at Birth,' a new one-hour scripted drama that will premiere on the network this summer.

Furthering TV Land's expansion into the original sitcom landscape, the network announced today that it has signed several popular television and film actors to star in its three upcoming pilots. Fran Drescher ('The Nanny'), Tichina Arnold ('Everybody Hates Chris'), John Michael Higgins ('Best in Show,' 'Kath & Kim'), D.W. Moffett ('Friday Night Lights'), Rita Moreno ('West Side Story'), Valente Rodriguez ('George Lopez') and Robert Walden ('All The President's Men') will star in 'Happily Divorced' based on Drescher's life; Donald Faison ('Scrubs'), Wayne Knight ('Seinfeld,' 'Hot in Cleveland'), David Alan Basche ('The Starter Wife') and Kristen Johnston ('3rd Rock From The Sun') will headline an untitled Mark Reisman sitcom; and Christine Taylor ('Zoolander,' 'Arrested Development'), Barry Watson ('Samantha Who?,' '7th Heaven') and Sherri Shepherd ('The View,' '30 Rock') will star in a comedy pilot by Terri Minsky tentatively titled 'Rip City.' Anne Meara ('The King of Queens') will guest star in Minsky's show. All three pilots, which were previously announced in January, will be multi-camera and will tape in front of live audiences in February.
