Marcia Milgrom Dodge, whose critically acclaimed production of 'Ragtime' transferred from the Kennedy Center to Broadway last fall and is nominated for six Helen Hayes Awards, will direct and choreograph the Reprise Theatre Company production of the 1962 Pulitzer Prize winner 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.' The production will end its run May 23rd.

The Broadway productions of LEND ME A TENOR and THE ADDAMS FAMILY will dedicate performances to The Actors Fund on June 27 and July 11, respectively, granting proceeds to the fund in support of their programs and services. Both performances begin at 8pm.

Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers and commentators for all media covering New York theatre announced today its award winners for the 2009-10 season in 23 categories.

The event will feature a panel discussion with Kevin Miserocchi, Director of The Tee and Charles Addams Foundation and author of the new collection of Addams' sketches titled The Addams Family: An Evilution, and the musical's authors - book-writers Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice and composer/lyricist Andrew Lippa. The panel will discuss Addams' body of work and how it informed the musical's creation. The event will also include a performance by Kevin Chamberlin, a Tony nominee for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for his role as Uncle Fester.

Appearing at this event will be book writers Rick Elice and Marshall Brickman, composer-lyricist Andrew Lippa and select cast members. Joining the creative team will be Sarah Henry. Henry is the curator of the Charles Addams Exhibit at the Museum of the City of New York.

Tthe 55th Annual Drama Desk Awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at the F.H. LaGuardia Concert Hall at Lincoln Center. Former Drama Desk Award winner Patti LuPone will host the awards ceremony.

Primary Stages closed its celebratory 25th Anniversary Season by proudly announcing the naming of its School of Theater in honor of founding board members Marvin and Anne Einhorn last week on April 16. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the ceremony. The school will now be officially known as Primary Stages Marvin and Anne Einhorn School of Performing Arts (ESPA). Twenty-five years after helping to found Primary Stages, Marvin and Anne Einhorn continue to serve the theater company and still report to duty each day at the Primary Stages office. The cast of THE ADDAMS FAMILY is set to head into the studio on April 19th to record the show's previously announced cast recording produced by Decca Broadway. The cast recording is set to be released this June.

Last week on April 8, 2010, Actor's Equity's 2nd Vice President Rebecca Kim Jordan hosted the famed Gypsy Robe Ceremony for company members of THE ADDAMS FAMILY at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. A long-standing opening night tradition on the Great White Way, the fabled Gypsy Robe is bestowed upon a veteran Broadway chorus member for each opening production. In what has now become a theatrical ritual, originating on Broadway 60 years ago, COME FLY AWAY chorus member Kristine Bendul turned over the robe to ADDAMS FAMILY cast member Jim Borstelmann.
