2010 Drama League Nominations Announced!

The Drama League (Jano Herbosch, President; Gabriel Shanks, Executive Director) proudly announces nominations for the 2009-10 Drama League Awards, to be presented at The 76th Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony and Luncheon on Friday, May 21, 2010 (noon) in the Grand Ballroom of the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square (1535 Broadway at 46th Street). The event will be co-hosted by Vanessa Williams (Sondheim on Sondheim) and Michael Urie (The Temperamentals).

Kaye, McGillin, Baldwin Set For NEW YORK FESTIVAL OF SONG 2010 GALA

New York Festival Of Song (NYFOS, www.nyfos.org), recently acclaimed by TimeOut New York for its 'A-list artistry,' will present its 2010 Gala, Let Yourself Go, a celebration of the rich musical legacy of America's foremost composer/lyricist, Irving Berlin, on Monday April 12 at 7 PM at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, 154 West 57th Street, New York City.

Jerry Seinfeld Live! - Benefit for Reprise Theatre Company, 4/8

Reprise Theatre Company presents Jerry Seinfeld Live! hosted by Jason Alexander, for one performance only on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 8:00 pm, at the Saban Theatre, Beverly Hills (formerly the Wilshire Theatre). This extraordinary event will feature the hilarious comedy of Jerry Seinfeld and will reunite him with Reprise's Artistic Director and the evening's host, Jason Alexander. A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM Closes at Reprise Theatre, 3/28

Reprise Theatre Company's production of 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,' 1962's Tony-Award-winning Best Musical, will play its final performance on March 28 at UCLA's Freud Playhouse. Directed by David Lee, the production's book is by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.

Kate Baldwin Set for HITS Benefit, 3/27

On March 27, Finian's Rainbow's Kate Baldwin will be featured in a cabaret-style performance to benefit Houston's HITS Theatre. The night will include Kate's favorite Broadway selections, including numbers from her CD, and possibly Finian's immortal signature tunes, 'How Are Things in Glocca Morra?' and 'Look to the Rainbow'. Photo Coverage: FINIAN'S RAINBOW Cast Celebrates Cast Recording Release

The PS Classics cast recording of the Broadway revival of Finian's Rainbow was released in stores Tuesday, February 2. To celebrate the CD release, Finian's Rainbow stars Kate Baldwin, Cheyenne Jackson, Christopher Fitzgerald, Jim Norton, Brian Reddy, Terri White and Guy Davis hosted a CD signing for fans. The event featured special, encore performances by Cheyenne Jackson, Kate Baldwin, and Christopher Fitzgerald. BroadwayWorld was there to capture it all.
