PROMISES, PROMISES, starring Sean Hayes and Kristin Chenoweth, began previews at the Broadway Theater on Saturday, March 27, 2010 and opened last night, Sunday, April 25, 2010. BroadwayWorld.com was there to bring you all the excitement of the show's opening night red carpet!

Blume as the first group of presenters lined up for the 55th Annual Drama Desk Awards ceremony on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at the F.H. LaGuardia Concert Hall at Lincoln Center.

In honor of Margaret Wise Brown's 100th Birthday, The InterSchool Orchestra of New York (ISO) (www.isorch.org) in association with GPR Records (Glen Roven, Peter Fitzgerald, Richard Cohen, artistic directors) have announced a live concert based on Brown's two best selling children's books Goodnight Moon and Runaway Bunny.

This year's 31 Master of Fine Arts (MFA) candidates of the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University have lived throughout the world (six countries, 19 states and two Caribbean islands). They've played professional tennis, recited slam poetry, and pirouetted in a tutu, as well as acted classically, comedically and experimentally. But all have chosen to spend the last three years in New York City, two express subway stops from Broadway, following their dream and refining their craft as actors, directors or playwrights in the only Masters' theater program endorsed by the renowned Actors Studio.

To celebrate the 125th anniversary of the magazine 'Good Housekeeping,' and to salute influential and inspriring women of the past 125 years, celebrities will come together to present SHINE ON on Monday, April 12 at the New York City Center.

The Off-Broadway hit Love, Loss, and What I Wore has been consistently delighting and touching women of all ages at the West Side Theater since it opened. Producer Daryl Roth announced that all audience members who attend the 3:00 PM matinee on Mother's Day (Sunday, May 9) will receive a goodie bag full of special Love, Loss, and What I Wore merchandise, making tickets to Love, Love, Loss and What I Wore the perfect Mother's Day gift.

Off Broadway's most fashionable show, Love, Loss and What I Wore, welcomed its newest cast with a celebration immediately following the 8:00 PM performance on Thursday, April 1, 2010. Joining the production are Lucy DeVito ('It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia'), Judy Gold (25 Questions for a Jewish Mother), Melissa Joan Hart ('Sabrina the Teenage Witch'), Jayne Houdyshell (Well) and Shirley Knight (As Good As It Gets). Producer Daryl Roth announced today that Anna Chlumsky (My Girl), Julie Halston (Gypsy) and Brooke Shields ('Lipstick Jungle') will join the previously announced Doris Roberts in Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron's smash hit show Love, Loss, and What I Wore beginning April 28 (through May 23). It was also announced today that Love, Loss, and What I Wore alumnae Lucy DeVito and Jayne Houdyshell will return to the show as part of the April cast (March 31 - April 25), which also includes Judy Gold, Melissa Joan Hart and Shirley Knight.

A BEHANDING IN SPOKANE starring Academy Award-winner Christopher Walken and stage and screen stars Sam Rockwell, Anthony Mackie and Zoe Kazan opened on Broadway on Thursday, March 4 and will play a strict 16-week engagement. Directed by directed by John Crowley, the production is playing on Broadway at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street). A BEHANDING IN SPOKANE is McDonagh's first play to originate on Broadway.
