There is something for everyone in this lineup of national performing acts, local and regional bands and family programming as part of the 10x10 Upstart Arts Festival featuring middle and high school students from Berkshire County.

Berkshire Theatre Group (BTG) and Kate Maguire (Artistic Director, CEO) have announced a festive lineup for the 2022 holiday season at The Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield. 

Celebration of Black Voices continues virtually with AIN'T I A WOMAN, streaming beginning January 20! Written by Shirley Edgerton and Felicia Robertson and directed by Shirley Edgerton and Ted Thomas, AIN'T I A WOMAN tells the stories of unsung African American heroines.

On Saturday, November 20, Rev Tor returns to The Colonial stage to celebrate The 25th Anniversary of The Rev Tor Band. Since 1996, Rev Tor has been a powerful presence on the East Coast club and festival circuit, performing in venues from Maine to Key West, Florida.

Concerts at The Colonial Theatre include: Lez Zeppelin (10/8), Reelin' in the Years: Celebrating the Music of Steely Dan (10/22), The Linda Ronstadt Experience with American Idol Star Tristan McIntosh (11/6) and Rev Tor 25th Anniversary Jam (11/20).

Berkshire Theatre Group has announced the 2021/22 fall and winter season at The Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield and The Unicorn Theatre in Stockbridge. Berkshire Theatre Group carefully monitors CDC guidelines for COVID-19 on a regular basis. They will continue to update procedures as needed. 

New England Musicians Relief Fund (NEMRF) has launched a new fundraising drive and hopes to distribute $200,000 to musicians in need in time for the holidays. NEMRF was created in 2020 to help musicians dealing with the financial strain that the pandemic has put on the entertainment industry. Any musician in New England and New York's Upper Hudson Valley facing financial difficulties can apply for a grant at NEMRF.org/apply.

For most theatre lovers across the nation, the prospect of seeing live entertainment in the near future seemed uncertain. 

The Sharon Playhouse, in it's continued mission to offer live entertainment throughout the Covid 19 summer will inaugurate a new Socially Distanced Patio Cabaret Dinner Series featuring concerts by the finest Broadway has to offer. Broadway comes to Sharon!

Following the success of Bobbie's Summer Series, Berkshire Theatre Group has announced Bobbie's Fall Series, introducing outdoor afternoon entertainment on weekends, including jazz Sundays, in September and October.

Berkshire Theatre Group has announced another event for the community, Bobbie's Summer Series, where on select weekends in August, Berkshire County's talented musicians and dancers will provide diverse entertainment for adults and children alike.

Celebrate an early 4th of July at Music Mountain, America's longest running summer chamber music festival! The 89th season continues with the music of Beethoven as the Shanghai Quartet performs Beethoven Quartet Cycle Program #4 on Sunday, July 1 (3pm). The festivities begin on Saturday, June 30 (6:30pm) with Michael Berkeley in a salute to the great Broadway and movie tunes that celebrate America! Concerts are scheduled through September 23.
