Written by O. Henry (William Sydney Porter 1862-1910) and adapted for stage by Ann Ciccolella, Austin Shakespeare’s O. HENRY STORIES is an evening of delight, laughter, and surprise.

The series features Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte), India Amarteifio (Young Queen Charlotte), Corey Mylchreest (Young King George), Arsema Thomas (Young Lady Danbury) as well as taped appearances with Adjoa Andoh (Lady Danbury) and Ruth Gemmell (Lady Violet Bridgerton). Physical Distancing.') with a streaming production of David Ives' comedy, The Universal Language, this September. In response to the violence against black men, women, and children, co-founders Howard and actor Seth Diggs assembled a team of Broadway actors to perform the anthem a?oeTill We Reach That Daya?? from the musical Ragtime (music by Stephen Flaherty, lyrics by Lynn Ahrens).

Entirely funded through grants and individual and corporate donations, a?oeHeal The Music Daya?? highlights the music community's efforts to provide financial support for the non-profit's critical and life-saving free services.

THE ORIGINAL MUSIC from Nicholas Kaminski's Transgender Starborn: Disco Queen of the Universe will be released November 16 on Spotify and iTunes. Members from the world-premiere production and recording will celebrate the album release with a live concert at 4 PM at The Duplex.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company announces a change in the casting of the LookOut Series Concert Reading of Standup Shakespeare. This event, which is a benefit concert reading for the theatre, will still feature the extraordinary talent of Steppenwolf co-founder Jeff Perry and Broadway legend Alice Ripley.
