The Hippodrome Theatre is bringing Running Mates by Beth Kander to the stage as part of their 50th Season, Beyond Limits, October 14-30.

Rising Toward a New Day is a new musical revue featuring a collection of songs from musical theatre hit shows. From the profound and emotional to the fun and cheerful, the musical theatre songs in this one hour show range from familiar favorites to exciting new pieces. While Act I reminds us why we love theatre, Act II offers inspiration for a new beginning.

After being dark for more than a year, New Stage Theatre announces it will open its doors to in-person audiences for our upcoming musical theatre revue Rising Toward a New Day. Conceived by Francine Thomas Reynolds and Carol Joy Sparkman, Rising Toward a New Day features a collection of songs that will lift you up and have you humming along.

New Stage Theatre will continue the Solo Show Series with a pre-recorded performance of Let It Shine! A Visit with Fannie Lou Hamer by Frank Kuhn, filmed at the theatre in February 2021 in front of a limited live audience.

The Center for the Arts at George Mason University announced today the 2019/2020 season of Great Performances at Mason, its annual series featuring leading national and international artists in the disciplines of classical music, opera, jazz, ballet, modern dance, theater, and global music and dance. The Center also announced the return of the Family Series, offering its second season of affordable programming for young audiences.

After comedy hip-hop duo BEN & JENSEN reached 116 million people with their recent mega-viral BACK TO THE 90s music video, they charted at #11 on the Billboard digital charts and joined THE BACKSTREET BOYS in Las Vegas. Shakespeare & Company announces its 2018 season casting. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
