LoveNotes! Real Stories. Real People. Real Love. - A romantic storytelling show featuring real people sharing their well-crafted essays about love.
It all sounds quite dramatic on paper, but the piece becomes a relentless plod-along. It’s plotless and paceless. The characters are irredeemably broken and unchanged by their time on stage. Monica is an alcoholic, Jess is having an existential crisis, Jeff is a church-going gambler, and Matt’s grief for his mother rules his apathetic life.

On September 20, New York native, Bill Scorzari, independently releases his third full-length album of all original music titled, Now I'm Free. His sound is gritty, raw and at times, downright sad. His songs transition through a multitude of emotions, with themes centered on the experiences of the human condition. Of his music, some say it's spoken word, and others, an amalgam of the voice of Tom Waits, the delivery of Sam Baker, and the soul of Kris Kristofferson. In his lyrics, there is a poetic grace, a calming and resigned wisdom of acceptance that shines through the wistful melancholy of hope, and breaks free. No Depression wrote, a?oeBill Scorzari is a force. His songwriting is stellar, his picking above par and his voice fits his songs perfectly.'
Folk singer Lisa Bastoni's new album, How We Want to Live, chronicles life changes, including songs about the dissolution of her marriage and learning to live a new normal -- but more than anything, it finds the songwriter diving deeper into the life she craves. Throughout ten tracks, themes wind from romantic relationships to those with her children, parents, and friends. Weaved throughout are hopes for herself and the world around her. The album is set for release on September 20. “Walk A Little Closer,” with Lula Wiles, is premiering today on The Bluegrass Situation.
