Through Sunday, February 11, 2024, BAM will present American Fiction: The Characters of Jeffrey Wright, a look at almost four decades of celluloid creations from the Tony and Emmy Award-winning actor.

Nope is the latest addition to Peacock’s growing library of iconic films, including Beast, Jurassic World Dominion, Minions: The Rise of Gru, Vengeance, Brian and Charles, The Black Phone, The Bad Guys, Downton Abbey: A New Era, and The Northman.

The exclusive Collector’s Edition comes filled with more than 90 minutes of never-before-seen bonus content, including a revealing documentary that dives deep into the film’s rich DNA and Peele’s extraordinary vision; an exploration into the conception, design and execution of entity “Jean Jacket”; deleted scenes, a gag reel and more.

Nope will screen as a special IMAX® presentation at the Cinesphere Theatre at Ontario Place, which has the distinction of being the world’s first permanent IMAX® theatre. Samuel Beckett's masterpiece HAPPY DAYS has already begun previews May 15, 2019 at the Mark Taper Forum, with Dianne Wiest taking center stage as Winnie, partially buried in the sand. Providing a foil for her non-stop, almost-soliloquy, Michael Rudko portrays Willie, Winnie's mostly unseen husband. Michael found some time to answer a few of my inquisitive queries.

“Contrapasso,” the title of Episode 5 of WESTWORLD refers to the concept in Dante's Inferno that every sinner should see an equally fitting punishment for their crime as the one they had committed. As guests continually exercise their id and indulge in depravity and the hosts who are victims of said indulgence start gaining consciousness and pushing back, they may find their own ring of hell at the end of their vacation. Everyone this week faces their demons and sees justice, in whatever form that maybe. For the more unsavory workers and guests of Westworld and their instinctually detached approach to the hosts from a more voyeuristic perspective, they will find an equally fitting end to their equally horrifying “sins”. For those with purer intentions and good hearts, they will battle against the sin exercising all around them and tempting them in to struggle in the search for a haven. “Contrapasso” is all about ones actions and the due retribution they will face, allowing the characters to reach a beautiful climax as the world and the balance starts shifting for them, be it in the positive or negative light.

At Comic-Con today, Kiefer Sutherland and 24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY director and executive producer Jon Cassar opened up about the revived series, confirming that there's still potential for the cast and crew to reunite for a film.
