Marianne Faithfull (manque) sings the songs that were written for and/or about her, ostensibly by other (less erudite) songwriters, but really through the prism of her dreams via uninvited intrusion into her unconscious mind.

Grumpy Old Men star Arthur Smith and Mercury Music Prize nominee Kathryn Williams are among the internationally acclaimed performers heading to Henley-on-Thames with Honk! this September.

Creator and host Andrea Westmeyer will premiere her immersive talk show on Saturday, August 26th @ 5:30pm, at the Harmony Gold Theater in Hollywood, and has sponsored a fundraiser for The Rhythmic Arts Project (TRAP), a charity founded by her guest and musician Eddie Tuduri.

Dublin alt-rock / postpunk artist Ava Vox presents the single 'Silent Tear', the latest dark rich offering from debut album 'Immortalised', an 8-track collection that is dark and delicious, gothic-infused and evocative of shady places and shadowed lands. Launched in 2020, Ava Vox is the solo moniker of Elaine Hannon, formerly of 1980s gothic rock / post-punk band The Seventh Veil. A Dublin native, she now lives in County Meath. With a unique vocal timbre and commanding delivery, her musical style ranges from goth rock and post-punk to slow melodic atmospheric and dynamic rock.

Touching on a range of influences plucked from literature including the fabled river Styx from Greek mythology and Murakami’s novel ‘Hard Boiled Wonderland’ and even nods to Jim Henson’s ‘Labyrinth’, “Halo” deftly blends the real with the surreal and boasts Sam and Sarah Gotley’s breadth as writers. Anna Connolly has shared the official video for 'Jewels' from her debut solo album After Thoughts with Buzzbands LA. The video which was directed by Drew Hagelin & Corynne Ostermann can also be shared at YouTube. Buzzbands LA says, 'Her delivery is stark, haunting and occasionally blunt, punctuated by that old '90s warhorse, the tension/release bridge, with phrasing that borders on the unconventional. Heartbreak is the common thread that weaves its way through After Thoughts. There is a powerful vulnerability in the songs, still sharp despite her well-worn heart. They speak of a woman who has learned some hard truths, is unwilling to make compromises and has emerged scarred but smarter.' After Thoughts can be ordered digitally and on limited edition vinyl now at Bandcamp.

Tammy Faye Starlite performs Marianne Faithfull's Broken English in its entirety for one month of Thursdays at Pangea. Performances are set for March 7, 14, 21 and 28, all at 7 PM. Starlite will be joined by Faithfull's long time collaborator and Broken English co-composer Barry Reynolds in her backing group, which also includes Eszter Balint, Richard Feridun, Keith Hartel and David Nadler.
