Apple TV+ has announced new thriller “Down Cemetery Road,” starring and executive produced by Emma Thompson who plays struggling Oxford private eye Zoë Boehm, alongside Ruth Wilson as Sarah Tucker, who becomes obsessed with the whereabouts of a child she believes to have gone missing.

The music-driven series blends 1870s English aristocracy with a modern soundtrack produced by Stella Mozgawa (of the band Warpaint) and packed with songs from Taylor Swift, Maggie Rogers, Brandi Carlile and more, along with original music from Folick, Lucius, Alison Mosshart, Warpaint, Gracie Abrams, Sharon Van Etten, Bully, and more.

Music Director David Robertson conducted the St. Louis Symphony in a concert performance of John Adams's critically acclaimed oratorio,The Gospel According to the Other Mary, on Friday, March 31 at 7:30 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage. The program featured mezzo-sopranos Kelley O'Connor as Mary Magdalene and Michaela Martens as Martha, with tenor Jay Hunter Morris as Lazarus. The cast also includes countertenorsDaniel Bubeck, Brian Cummings, and Nathan Medley, and the St. Louis Symphony Chorus, directed by Amy Kaiser.

The Metropolitan Opera's 2017-18 season will feature 220 performances of 26 works, including two Met premieres, one co-commissioned by the company and one an older masterpiece having its first Met performances; a variety of repertory favorites, three in new productions; and performances of Verdi's towering concert work for soloists, orchestra, and chorus, the Requiem. This Saturday, December 3 at 8 pm, Ash Lawn Opera launches its 40th Season as Charlottesville, Virginia's premier opera company with a special performance of by world-renowned tenor Jay Hunter Morrisat The Paramount Theater. Morris -- the self-proclaimed 'blue-collar opera singer' -- will perform beloved opera arias, jazz, and country; play guitar; and tell stories about his life on the road. In conjunction with the Virginia Festival of the Book, Morris will sign copies of his autobiography, Diary of a Redneck Opera Zinger, a hilarious chronicle of his 15-year career, immediately following the performance.
