La Coordinación Nacional de Teatro del Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (Inbal) continuó con el compromiso de promover y difundir la creación teatral en México. Durante el 2022 se presentó una oferta escénica con amplias propuestas dirigidas a públicos de diversas edades, en el marco del 60 Aniversario del Centro Cultural del Bosque (CCB). 

La Coordinación y la Compañía Nacional de Teatro del Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (Inbal) se unirán a la celebración del Día Mundial del Teatro con actividades presenciales y virtuales, entre las cuales destacan conferencias, talleres, funciones en la Ciudad de México y el interior de la República mexicana. 

Con el compromiso de promover y difundir la creación, así como la producción dancística y teatral en México, las coordinaciones nacionales de Danza y Teatro del Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (Inbal), instancia de la Secretaría de Cultura federal, presentan su programación para el mes de marzo que integra trabajos para todos sus públicos a cargo de distintas compañías.

Cygnet's fourteenth season ends with the manic, irreverent and wildly imaginative presentation of the theatrical event, Shockheaded Peter. This 1998 musical took a famed German children's book series and turned it into an instant classic. The stage production of Shockheaded Peter won rave reviews around the world as one of the most original collaborations of its kind. It featured music by The Tiger Lillies, a three-piece band with a cult following in London, and includes graphic and hilariously sadistic lessons for children about what will happen to them if they don't do as they are told. These cautionary tales for children become lessons for adults in the completely demented stage production.
