SoHo Playhouse has announced 9 winners from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, The Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival, Brighton Fringe, Cincinnati Fringe Festival, Hollywood Fringe, and Edmonton Fringe, as part of The International Fringe Encore Series.

Retro Productions will put their own unique spin on a revival of Eric Overmyer’s play On the Verge (or the Geography of Yearning), that follows Mary, Alex and Fanny as they travel into the future and discover a world that is beyond anything they could imagine. The epic journey takes them through the jungle, over ice cliffs and right up to an Esso station in 1950’s America where their greatest adventures await - including their first encounter with Cool Whip.

OBIE-winning theater company Hoi Polloi (Three Pianos; All Hands) returns to JACK with a peek inside the meeting of a white anti-racist group. As the members reckon with sacrifices they must make to live up to their principles, other forces begin to disrupt and unsettle their efforts. An uncanny ode to honesty, forgiveness, and accountability, this ensemble tour de force pulls the audience on a descent from the too-real to the sub-real.

Gideon Media, the creators behind the hit podcast Steal The Stars and the critically lauded stage saga The Honeycomb Trilogy, will premiere part two of season one of their multi-season science fiction epic Give Me Away, written by audio-fiction juggernaut and critically lauded playwright Mac Rogers with acclaimed director Jordana Williams.

Gideon Media will premiere The Earth Moves, a dark apocalyptic comedy written by audio-fiction juggernaut and celebrated playwright Mac Rogers with acclaimed director Jordana Williams. The play will premiere in two parts on Friday, August 13 and Friday, August 20.

Sea Dog Theater follows up their award-winning 2018 season with the World Premiere of Devin Burnam's site-specific play, The Catastrophe Club. The production runs October 18 - November 22 and is directed by longtime Sea Dog collaborator Shaun Bennet Fauntleroy. Opening night is slated for October 18.

Gideon Productions, the company behind the multiple New York Times Critic's Pick The Honeycomb Trilogy, will present the New York Premiere of playwright Mac Rogers' award-winning (Critic's Pick at the Cincy Fringe Festival) drama MUSICAL CHAIRS, October 19-27 at The Brick (579 Metropolitan Avenue, Brooklyn). Performances will be on Friday, October 19 at 9:30pm, Saturday, October 20 at 9;30pm, Friday, October 26 at 9:30pm, and Saturday, October 27 at 9:30pm. Hope Summer Repertory Theatre (HSRT), Western Michigan's premier summer theatre, has begun rehearsals for their highly anticipated 2018 season! The company was established at Hope College in 1972 and is entering their 47th Season with newly named New York City Theatre Artist Lenny Banovez, as the company's new Artistic Director.

WP Theater and The Bushwick Starr, in association with New Georges, are pleased to announce that due to popular demand, [PORTO], the upside-down romantic comedy written by Obie Award Winner Kate Benson (Super Magic Wild Forest, Desert) and directed by Obie Award winner Lee Sunday Evans (Bull in a China Shop, Caught), will extend. Previously scheduled through February 25,[PORTO] will now play its final performance on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at WP Theater (2162 Broadway).
