Lantern Theater Company continues its 30th anniversary season with Brian Friel's masterpiece play, Faith Healer. Directed by Peter DeLaurier and featuring Anthony Lawton, Ian Merrill Peakes, and Geneviève Perrier, Faith Healer explores memory, belief, and the stories we tell ourselves.

Arden Theatre Company is diving into spring with the TONY Award winning hit musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. With music and lyrics by William Finn and a book by Rachel Sheinkin, this hilarious and heartfelt musical, conceived by Rebecca Feldman, takes audiences into the heart of a Spelling Bee and the important moments of growing up that shape the people we become. Walnut Street Theatre (WST) continues its 214th season with a comedic romantic romp in Neil Simon's Last of the Red Hot Lovers. Written by the legendary Neil Simon (who received his start at the Walnut with the 1961 premiere of “Come Blow Your Horn”), the production begins previews January 10, opens January 18, and continues through February 5, 2023, on the Walnut's Mainstage.

The Bearded Ladies Cabaret returns to the 2022 Philadelphia Fringe Festival and Opera Philadelphia's Festival O22 with Late Night Snacks, a new selection of guilty pleasures, soul nourishment, and tasty performances. The mixed plate pop-up cabaret bar is 50% Philadelphia flavor, 50% neighborhood jawn, and 100% good to the last bite.

InterAct Theatre Company continues its 2021-2022 season with  SETTLEMENTS, a “world premiere” play by InterAct's founding Producing Artistic Director, Seth Rozin. SETTLEMENTS marks InterAct's 3rd live, in-person production since returning from the pandemic shutdown, following on the heels of its critically acclaimed THIS BITTER EARTH in February 2022.

Applied Mechanics is returning with their newest creation Other Orbits Episode One: PlaNet  Radio,  an  eclectic  radio broadcast about the obscure festivals, slow jams, and scandals of this cooperative, sci-fi world. Other Orbits is a serial multi-media play created by Applied Mechanics. Episode One: PlaNet Radio premieres June 30 - July 31, 2021.

Kash Goins' 74 SECONDS...TO JUDGMENT, which was staged at Philadelphia's Arden Theatre Company in 2019, is returning for a limited time as a new radio play. Helmed by the original production's director, Amina Robinson, 74 SECONDS...TO JUDGMENT: A Radio Play, will be presented for streaming audiences March 8 through March 21, 2021.

Writer and director Anna Brenner, along with her company Other Shore, are set to premiere The Karamazovs, a freewheeling distillation of Fyodor Dostoevsky's The Brothers Karamazov, at the New Ohio Theatre (154 Christopher Street, Manhattan).

Equal parts irreverent comedy and emotional journey into family dysfunction, Dionysus Was Such A Nice Man by Kate Tarker examines with horror and humor the lasting effects of personal trauma. The first ever World Premiere commissioned for Wilma's HotHouse, this searing new play directed by French physical theater master Dominique Serrand runs April 23 - May 12 at The Wilma Theater.

Laughter can be found at Bristol Riverside Theatre in Neil Simon's The Sunshine Boys, running March 12 - March 31.  The humorous and touching play is directed by Bristol Riverside Theatre's artistic director Keith Baker. Previews begin Tuesday, March 12, with opening night set for Thursday, March 14.

City Theatre will welcome Tamara Tunie and Laurie Klatscher to the City Theatre stage this spring to bring the unlikely plans in Jen Silverman's play The Roommate to life. It is directed by City Theatre's Artistic Producer, Reginald L. Douglas, and will run on the City Theatre Main Stage, March 2 - 24, 2019. Tickets are on sale now.

Walnut Street Theatre continues its landmark 210th season with Roald Dahl's MATILDA THE MUSICAL. Directed by Linda Goodrich, with choreography by Michelle Gaudette, MATILDA THE MUSICAL begins previews on November 6th, opens on November 14th, and runs through January 6th on the Walnut's Mainstage.
