Who would have thought after all of these years that these best friends would be simultaneously having their art represented on New York City stages around the same time?

Lyle Courtney Productions announces that the world premiere of Ace, a beat-the-clock comedy written and performed by Emmy Award-winning Letterman writer Ted Greenberg, races into The Marjorie S. Deane Theater (10 West 64th Street). Elizabeth Margid (Alice Eve Cohen's What I Thought I Knew, Matthew Maguire's Wild Man in Rome) directs.

New York-based Recent Cutbacks announces the return of its acclaimed theatrical comedy Hold On To Your Butts, a live, shot-for-shot remake of Jurassic Park performed by just two actors and a foley artist, to Chicago for a limited engagement at Donny's Skybox Theater at The Second City Training Center (230 W. North Ave, 4th Floor) April 20 through 23, 2017.

With esteemed careers spanning 60 to 70 years long, actors Dame Angela Lansbury and James Earl Jones will bring the magic of the stage to movie theaters across the country this June.

In a feature discussing upcoming HD broadcasts of theatre productions around the world, The New York Times revealed that Ed Greenberg and Lee deBoer's Broadway Near You is planning to distribute the recent Australian production of DRIVING MISS DAISY, starring Angela Lansbury and James Earl Jones, to cinemas this spring. The show also has first-look deals with producers, including the Lincoln Center Theater. Still no word on a possible Broadway production.

TNT will be the exclusive home of the 2013 NBA Eastern Conference Finals when the Miami Heat and LeBron James face the Indiana Pacers and Paul George in a best-of-seven series beginning with Game 1 from Miami on Wednesday, May 22, at 8:30 p.m. ET. The network's Sports Emmy Award-winning NBA Playoff coverage will feature Marv Albert calling the action with analysts Steve Kerr and Reggie Miller.

The comedy and the cab keep rolling. Ted Greenberg's The Complete Performer, which has played the Soho Playhouse since September 2008, will continue doing so through the summer. The hour-long comedy has been extended through September 29, 2012.
