Molière in the Park will present a re-imagined version of Molière's The Miser, translated and adapted by David Chambers, and directed by Molière in the Park's Founding Artistic Director Lucie Tiberghien.

Added to the program will be the premiere of Posin's 'Postlude,' conceived when, according to Posin, 'the company gathered together to restage an earlier work, and late-stage pandemic ghosts came to haunt us in the Gene Frankel Theatre.'

Company member Daniel White will perform Touch Me by Gerald Arpino. Company members Claire Mazza and Alejandro Ulloa will present their duet Through You, and Posin will present an excerpt from her latest work Triple Sextet to Steve Reich's Pulitzer Prize-winning Double Sextet.  

Pennsylvania Ballet announced today the expansion of its leadership and operations team. David Chambers will succeed interim chief development officer Laura Fredricks, as chief advancement officer and chief campaign officer.

Raven Theatre will continue its 2019-20 season with a revival of Henrik Ibsen's masterpiece A DOLL'S HOUSE, in a vibrant and progressive new adaptation making its Chicago premiere. Directed by Lauren Shouse, the new work features translation by Anne-Charlotte Hanes Harvey and adaptation by Hanes Harvey and Kirsten Brandt. San Francisco Symphony (SFS) Executive Director Mark C. Hanson today announces the appointment of David Chambers as Chief Revenue and Advancement Officer. In this role, Chambers will serve as a key member of the Symphony's senior leadership team and will guide the institutional vision for the organization's philanthropic, audience, and volunteer development goals. Chambers begins his new post on October 22, 2018.

The Houston Symphony announced today that Mark C. Hanson, its Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer, will step down from his role this summer to join the San Francisco Symphony as Executive Director.  Hanson, who has been at the orchestra's helm since May 2010 and holds the Margaret Alkek Williams Executive Director/CEO Chair, will begin his new post on September 1.

The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute celebrates the 150th anniversary of director, teacher and pioneer in actor training Konstantin Stanislavsky. Fifty years ago, Lee Strasberg represented the American Theatre community at the Stanislavsky Centenary celebration in Moscow, Russia.
