After graduating with a Musical Theatre Diploma from The Urdang Academy, Cherelle Jay joined one of the UK’s most recognised Hip Hop dance companies ‘ZooNation’ and made her professional debut in Some Like It Hip Hop – West End & UK Tour and then went into their most recent remixed production of Into The Hoods covering the role of ‘Lil Red’– London (The Peacock Theatre) & UK Tour. She then joined the Original Cast of I Can’t Sing The X Factor Musical at The London Palladium – West End. She played the role of ‘Dhara Poppins’ in Eurobeat at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival and most recently, she was understudying one of the leading roles ‘Pritti Pasha’ in the award winning, brand new British musical Everybody’s Talking About Jamie at The Apollo Theatre. Film & TV work includes Mamma Mia 2, The Holiday, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie and workshops for Aladdin, whilst also being a backing dancer on TV shows such as The X Factor and NTA’s. She has since set up her own dance and mentoring company ‘Heels and Feels,’ holding classes, events, workshops and retreats, as a platform for women to come together to find confidence, support in one another and to feel passion through dance, and hopes to continue teaching and connecting with people across the world. BWW Review: SIX, Vaudeville Theatre


SIX exploded onto the musical theatre scene in 2017, turning a university theatre group's Edinburgh Fringe production into a storming success that is now performed worldwide - from London to Broadway.
