Fuse Theatre Ensemble To Head Into 2024 With An Updated Space, Season, and Events Schedule


Fuse Theatre Ensemble has announced that it will be going into 2024 with an updated space, season, and events schedule. Fuse has revamped their seating, added concessions, and added a weekly late-night event schedule, in addition to announcing their 2024 season. 

A FEW DEEP BREATHS Comes to La MaMa This Week


Each of the writers worked independently to generate dialogue and/or actions for two performers, one playing a 7-year-old and the other a 77-year-old. The non-linear tale that emerges is developed in collaboration with creative technologists, embodied by performance artist Agosto Machado and a puppet by Tom Lee, performed by Leah Ogawa and Maria Camia, and will explore interactivity and connection with the online audience.

La MaMa Will Conclude 59th Season With A FEW DEEP BREATHS


For the final online experiment in La MaMa's 59th season, seven writers (Erik Ehn, Huntrezz Janos, Adrienne Kennedy, Haruna Lee, Chuck Mee, Robert Patrick, and Christopher Rivas), two performers, and an online audience come together for A FEW DEEP BREATHS, premiering Friday, June 25 at 8pm ET.

THE VELVET UNDERGROUND EXPERIENCE to Open in New York City This October


The Velvet Underground Experience, an intriguing new multi-media art and music exhibition spotlighting the iconic band's early NYC roots, will be opening in New York City on October 10.  It is the first global exhibition dedicated to the Velvet Underground and its influence on modern music, fashion, art & popular culture, set against the backdrop of the band's early days collaborating with Andy Warhol in NYC in the 1960s.  Co-presented by Bandsintown and Citi, the three-month exhibition will be located at 718 Broadway in Greenwich Village, paying homage as well to the neighborhood's deep artistic base.
