Yi-Chung Chen BIO

Yi-Chung Chen, originally from Taiwan, holds an MFA from Boston University in Lighting Design. She is currently working as Lighting Supervisor at Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company, Resident Lighting Designer at Spicy Witch Productions, and constantly designing lights for play, dance, and opera at various venues. She has previously worked as Resident Lighting Designer at Educational Theater of New York, Design Fellow at Chautauqua Theater Company in NY, Assistant Lighting Designer at The Living Theatre and Gotham Chamber Opera in NY, Florida Grand Opera in FL, also Huntington Theatre Company and Boston Lyric Opera in Boston. Before studying the graduate school in the U.S, she worked as a freelance lighting designer and assistant lighting designer in Taiwan.
