Musical Theatre Guild, the winner of the Los Angeles Drama Critic's Circle Margaret Harford Award for sustained excellence in the theatre, will present MTG REWIND, a special benefit to support Musical Theatre Guild's extensive youth outreach programs. The event, an intimate celebration of over 20 years of Musical Theatre Guild's best musical moments, will take place at Rockwell Table and Stage on Monday, March 25, 2019 at 8:00 pm.

The Colony Theatre in Burbank has announced a four-performance engagement of SIGNing the Song, written, performed, and directed by William Martinez, opening on November 1. Musical direction is by David Bawiec.

Using a combination of American Sign Language and singing, actor-vocalist William Martinez's SIGNing The Song shares the story of a boy who grew up in a deaf household with little exposure to TV, radio, or movies.

Because of his incredible 8th-grade music teacher and the love and support of his parents, he came out of his silent world and discovered his voice through music. Musical Theatre West's (MTW) Reiner Staged Reading Series (RRS) returns with Once Upon a Mattress, on Sunday, November 19, 7pm at the Beverly O'Neill Theater. The 2016 Music Circus season concludes with the Northern California premiere of a new musical from the mind of Victor Hugo, inspired by one of the most epic stories ever told: The Hunchback of Notre Dame. This daring production sets the classic tale of love, vengeance, and compassion to one of the most sweeping scores ever written for the stage. It's the only stage collaboration between two masters of American musical theatre, Alan Menken (Disney's The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast) and Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin).
