BATSU! Celebrates 1000 Performances


On October 22, 2018 at 7 PM, the cast of BASTU! will take the stage in the lower level of Jebon Sushi and suffer punishments for the 1000th time. But this time, it will be in an effort to recreate their first performance which took place on Monday, December 9, 2010.

BATSU! NYC, the original "East Village Sensation" (Asian Fusion) live Japanese Game Show has a new Company Manager and they didn't have to go far to find him. One of the most senior performers in the NYC production is Whit Baldwin, who after joining the cast just a few weeks after the show opened in January of 2011, has become a leader both on and off the stage. Having served as the "Captain of the Captains" over the last year or so, Mr. Baldwin has now been officially named Company Manager.

Stevens will also be taking on directorial duties as he and his former co-star take part in an evening of music and lyrics by the multifaceted and award-winning Bienstock.

The event was for an inspiring, new partnership between Boardman Productions and Seeds in the Middle, a 501c3 charity empowering students and schools in the obesity epidemic to get all the resources they need to get healthy. PS Classics releases the Encores! cast recording of MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG today, July 10th! The 2-disc album, originally set to be released June 19th but postponed due to technical issues, features a 52-page full-color booklet, with essay, synopsis, lyrics, and more than two dozen photos.
