The Earle Brown Music Foundation Charitable Trust (EBMF) has announced the TIME SPANS Festival in New York City. Scheduled from August 1 to 5, 2017, TIME SPANS 2017 will include five concerts, performed by three of the best North American specialized groups for new repertoire: Talea Ensemble (NYC), JACK Quartet (NYC), and Bozzini Quartet (Montreal).

The South Australian Living Artists (SALA) Festival will get the state's art started tomorrow (August 1) when it officially opens for its milestone 20th year, presenting the works of a record breaking 6282 artists in 660 free exhibitions across Adelaide and regions throughout August.

Australia's biggest community-based visual arts festival gets even bigger with 660 free exhibitions for 20th anniversary year

It may be the middle of winter, but Adelaide's arts scene is hotting up as the South Australian Living Artists (SALA) Festival prepares to celebrate its 20th year with a bumper program of exhibitions, arts and cultural events across the state throughout August.

A Doll's House, Part 2 opens tonight, April 27, at the John Golden Theatre.  Produced by Scott Rudin and directed by Tony Award®-winner Sam Gold, this wildly inventive new American play picks up after Henrik Ibsen's most cherished work concludes. In the final scene of Ibsen's 1879 ground-breaking masterwork, Nora Helmer makes the shocking decision to leave her husband and children, and begin a life on her own. This climactic event - when Nora slams the door on everything in her life - instantly propelled world drama into the modern age. In A Doll's House, Part 2, many years have passed since Nora's exit. Now, there's a knock on that same door. Nora has returned. But why? And what will it mean for those she left behind? Get to know the cast before tonight's opening bows!

TIME SPANS is dedicated exclusively to the presentation of twenty-first century music. The events will take place at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music in Manhattan. The festival is produced and presented by the Earle Brown Music Foundation (EBMF). Artistic Director for TIME SPANS is Thomas Fichter. The name TIME SPANS is taken from the title of an orchestra piece by the American composer Earle Brown.

Producer Scott Rudin today announced that Lucas Hnath's new play, A Doll's House, Part 2, will come to Broadway next spring in a production directed by Tony Award®-winner Sam Gold. A wildly inventive new American play that picks up after Henrik Ibsen's most cherished work concludes, A Doll's House, Part 2 will boast an all-star cast that features three-time Emmy Award-winner and three-time Tony Award®-nominee Laurie Metcalf, Academy Award-winner Chris Cooper, Tony Award®-winner Jayne Houdyshelland two-time Tony Award®-nominee Condola Rashad. Beginning preview performances at Broadway's John Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street) on Saturday, April 1, 2017, this 16-week engagement will officially open on Thursday, April 27.

Playing August 25 - September 11, 2016, Sherlock will kick off The Trust's season as the first production of their Theater series.

Five free performances will be presented August 16, August 23-24 and August 26-27, 2016 at unique outdoor venues across the City, primarily through the Chicago Park District's 'Night Out in the Parks' series.
