Orange Tree Theatre has announced 10 new artistic associates, marking the first cohort under the leadership of Artistic Director Tom Littler.

From the man behind Rosemary's Baby and The Stepford Wives, Ira Levin's Deathtrap has scared and intrigued audiences since premiering in 1978. One of Broadway’s most successful plays and even spawning a film adaptation, The Mill at Sonning's latest production directed by Tam Williams proves why it still makes audiences scream and laugh today.

The cast has been announced for Ira Levin’s thrilling and deadly game of cat and mouse, DEATHTRAP, directed by Tam Williams, and playing at The Mill at Sonning Theatre from February 8 - March 30. Watch the video here and learn more about the cast!

Last year The Mill at Sonning produced an incredibly successful run of Noël Coward’s STILL LIFE, directed by Tam Williams and staged in the Waterwheel Bar, which was transformed into a 1930s train station buffet.  Now Tam is taking over the Mill’s restaurant for his next  immersive production, one of the most popular comedies ever written - Shakespeare’s ‘Twelfth Night’.

A staple of the British stage, Noël Coward’s Hay Fever was inspired by the playwright’s travels in New York meeting an eccentric family. Supposedly, the matriarch wasn’t kind to Coward’s perceptions of their lifestyle, but this comedy of manners still paid off and has become one of his best known works. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Coward’s passing, the charming Mill at Sonning is staging a new revival.

Rebecca Thornhill will star as Mama Rose and Evelyn Hoskins will play her daughter Louise in 'Gypsy' at The Mill at Sonning Theatre, running from 24 May - 15 July, 2023.

Following a summer season as young newly wed lawyer Paul in Neil Simon's classic comedy 'Barefoot on the Park', Jonny Labey ('Strictly Ballroom' in the West End, BBC 'EastEnders') will star as Jerry Travers in the return of their critically acclaimed 2021 tap-tastic production of 'Top Hat'.

Oh, how life changes in 20 months. Not quite two years, not quite one and a half. In March 2020, artistic director of Jermyn Street Theatre Tom Littler teamed up with Michael Pennington to deliver Shakespeare’s swansong. That production played for six performances before closing down due to the  “unprecedented times” we’re still dealing with. It was this critic’s last show before theatres closed down and everything changed.

On November 25, Michael Pennington will pick up his staff and books and don his robes once more, to return to the Jermyn Street Theatre stage to play Prospero in this critically hailed production of Shakespeare’s final play. 

After nine months in lockdown, The Mill at Sonning, the UK's only dinner theatre, is to re-open its theatre on 30 October with a winter season of comedy, magic, cabarets and plays.

William Shakespeare's swansong lands on Jermyn Street Theatre's tiny stage in fetching fashion. Traditionally a grand spectacle, Tom Littler transforms The Tempest into boutique theatre at its finest. This March, one of the leading Shakespearean actors of his generation, Michael Pennington, is to play Prospero for the first time in Jermyn Street Theatre's staging of Shakespeare's final work The Tempest.

Did you know that songs by Britney Spears and Amy Winehouse sound great when performed in a French accent and with an accordion? To say it was an unexpected introduction to a production of Noel Coward's Private Lives would be an understatement.

Next up at the RSC's Swan Theatre is an oft-forgotten Restoration comedy by Mary Pix; originally titled The Beau Defeated, Jo Davies' production shifts the focus onto the widowed protagonist with the new title The Fantastic Follies of Mrs Rich. It comes in the same year as two new productions of another Restoration Comedy, The Country Wife, are unveiled at Southwark Playhouse and Chichester's Minerva Theatre - and plays alongside The Duchess of Malfi and Macbeth (in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre).

The Mill at Sonning is delighted to announce its next season of productions from July 2017 to January 2018. Brian Blessed returns to direct Agatha Christie's most enthralling and entertaining thriller "SPIDERS WEB" from Thursday 6 July to Saturday 26 August 2017.

Love and disguise are the order of the day as the Orange Tree's 2016-17 programme continues with a new John Fowles translation of Pierre Marivaux's The Lottery of Love. The 18th century play in this production has more than a whiff of Jane Austen about it, with characters in Regency dress and placing great importance on propriety and good manners.

The cast of the multi-award winning British musical SUNNY AFTERNOON will perform live tonight 11 June, at the London Music Awards at the Roundhouse in Camden. The Awards are organized by the Mayor's Music Fund and other performers will include Laura Doggett, Ibibio Sound Machine and Belle Chen.
