Shannon Harrington: actress, singer/songwriter and voice-over artist.
Was part of the acting ensemble, playing lead in film in development at the Sundance Director's Lab in Utah.
Played Dorothy Benson in the Lucille Lortel Award-nominated Off-Broadway production of "Women Without Men" at City Center II, for the Mint Theatre company.
Played "Susan Waverly" for 2 years in a row in the National Broadway Tour of Irving Berlin's White Christmas with a month at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
Starred as Scout in "To Kill A Mockingbird" at the Queens Theatre.
Originated role of Young Esther in Anne Lucas' holocaust memoir play "From Silence" at Theater for the New City. Also reprised the role for staged readings at the Jewish Heritage Museum in NYC, directed by Arin Arbus.
Originated role of "Dolly" in musical in development "Once 'Round The Circle", with original recording at Avatar Studios, and on stage as part of Emerging Artist Theater's New Works series.
Played lead role Zella in "No More Monsters" for Theater Master's TAKE TEN MFA National Playwright's Festival at C.O.W. Theater.
On screen: Discovery Channel, Sprout TV, Biography Channel, and in the award-winning webseries "Sensitive: A Web Series". Film: "Good Enough" with James Caan. She has also been a principle in many National TV and radio commercials for Quaker Chewy Oats, IKEA, Crayola, American Girl, AT&T, and most recently in the award-winning "Half House" TV commercial for Verizon Fios produced by Thomas and Thomas.
Award-winning singer/songwriter in NJ statewide "Shout Down Drugs" competition for original composition, winning 1st place and musical contract. Also creates original soundtracks and jingles for professional video productions and commercials.
Shannon has appeared in promo for "America's Got Talent" and on stage at the Hammerstein Ballroom, at Playwright's Horizons to benefit Huntington's Disease, at Broadway Sessions, and more.
Co-found of Broadway ArtsReach, a community outreach program bringing arts and arts education to various schools and community groups. Broadway ArtsReach also produces the "We Want Arts" podcast which advocates for arts and music education and features interviews with industry and academia professionals. Broadway ArtsReach is also partnered with Todd Rundgren's Spirit of Harmony Foundation, helping raise funds for its program that brings musical instruments to under-represented children.
