Theatre NOVA, Ann Arbor’s resident nonprofit professional theatre presents a limited engagement of “Sing Happy!,” a celebration of the work of Broadway’s famous duo, Kander and Ebb.

From October 28th to November 7th, Theatre NOVA in Ann Arbor is putting on a production of Sing Happy!. This special show is a celebration of the work of Kander and Ebb, a legendary duo who composed such musicals as Cabaret, Chicago, and Kiss of the Spider Woman, just to name a few.

Sexton's work was published in the organization's prior three 'Big Read' collections Call of the Wild Dearborn: Animal Tales (also providing the photographic cover art), Dreaming Dreams No Mortal Ever Dared to Dream Before, and What's In A Name? The program has been running since 2015, and Sexton has been included in each edition.

Hoosier author Susie Sexton will be featured in the latest Henry Ford Centennial Library 'Big Read' upcoming Tree Anthology. The book will be available for purchase on Amazon. The program has been running for four years now, and Sexton has been included in each edition.

Cure. - a special theatrical event held on Wednesday, February 6, that featured classic film hits as sung by local performers at The Village Theater at Cherry Hill - was a sell-out success with a capacity crowd of 400 patrons. The show raised over $20,000 for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Canton-Plymouth.

Director of Marketing Roy Sexton was recently appointed to two boards: Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit and the Royal Starr Film Festival.

The 2017 awards honor productions which opened between October 1, 2016 and September 30, 2017. Nominations were completely reader-submitted and after the nomination period ended October 31, BroadwayWorld's local editors proofed the list for eligibility and errors.
