The 2023 Oxford Film Festival (March 1-5) has announced the lineup of official selections and events for the 20th Anniversary annual edition of the popular film festival. Lisa Cortes' documentary Little Richard: I am Everything is the Opening Night selection, and Michael Stevantoni and Strack Azar's The Banality is the Closing Night selection.

Hunger Theatre's production of The Crucible continues this week with three final performances on Thursday the 16th, Friday the 17th, and Saturday the 18th at 8pm.

Placido Domingo announced today that mezzo-soprano Susan Graham, one of the world's foremost opera stars, has renewed her contract to continue in her role as Artistic Advisor to LA Opera's Domingo-Colburn-Stein Young Artist Program through the 2020/21 season.

Diving into its ninth season, Random Access Theatre is thrilled to introduce the season of the storm in 2019! Focusing around William Shakespeare's The Tempest, three productions over the course of the year will explore themes of magic, loss and forgiveness. First, Adam Bertocci's new play Miranda from Stormville receives its world premiere as part of IRT's 3B Development Series March 14-24. Next, take to the water in late August for a special presentation of Thomas Duffet's restoration comedy The Mock Tempest performed on a boat. And last, return to where it all began in September with The Tempest, performance dates TBD. The 2019 season officially kicks off on Friday, January 25th with a Bar Fun-Raiser at SideBar near Union Square. Featuring games, prizes and booze, tickets are $10-30 and can be purchased at randomaccesstheatre.com.

Placido Domingo, LA Opera's Eli and Edythe Broad General Director, announced today that he has chosen the performers who will join LA Opera's Domingo-Colburn-Stein Young Artist Program in the 2018/19 season. The artists were chosen from 650 applicants, 200 live auditions and, ultimately, 28 final candidates. The finalists auditioned in April for a panel led by Mr. Domingo that included Sebastian Paul and Marybelle Musco President and CEO Christopher Koelsch, the program's Artistic Advisor Susan Graham and Artistic Administrator Samuel Gelber, along with Stephen King, head of vocal instruction for the program, and Nino Sanikidze, head coach for the program.

Today, Netflix officially reveals the guest star roster for the new season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. The list includes Busy Philipps, Greg Kinnear, Bobby Moynihan, and Aidy Bryant, and the return of favorites from past seasons including Jon Hamm, Amy Sedaris, Mike Carlsen, Zosia Mamet and Derek Klena. Netflix is also releasing new photos and teases storylines for the guest roles.

General Director Placido Domingo announced today that soprano Diana Damrau and bass-baritone Nicolas Teste will join him and Sondra Radvanovsky for a one-night-only concert on April 1, 2017, to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Domingo-Colburn-Stein Young Artist Program.
