Since she was a child, female vocalists have inspired Nicole to use her gifts as an artist on stage. She landed on American Idol as a finalist, won the grand prize on "The Wendy Williams Show" singing competition, and made such an impression singing on BET's Apollo Live that Gladys Knight personally invited her on tour!

The Coterie Theatre, nationally recognized as one the leading live theatres for families and young audiences in the country, opens its 38th season with The Nine Who Dared: Courage in Little Rock, which tells the true story of the 'Little Rock Nine' and the desegregation of Central High School as a uniquely interactive stage drama that asks audiences to become citizens of 1957 Little Rock and witness one of the most important moments in Civil Rights history. Directed by Jeff Church, The Nine Who Dared: Courage in Little Rock will be performed live on The Coterie's stage September 20 - October 21, 2016.

When his artistic genius threatens to destroy his relationship with his parents and community, young Asher realizes he must make a difficult choice between art and faith. Aaron Posner's stirring adaptation of a modern classic presented by Palisades Players SummerStage and a professional cast, made up entirely of Actors Equity members, present a heartbreaking and triumphant vision of what it means to be an artist in a world dominated by faith and tradition.

Peggy Baker Dance Projects presents he:she, a powerful evening of multi-dimensional contemporary dance and live music celebrating a world balanced by dualities. he:she features two world premieres, both choreographed by Peggy Baker, and two landmark solos - one choreographed by Baker and performed by Sahara Morimoto, and one masterwork gifted to Baker by esteemed Montreal dance artist Paul-Andre Fortier. The program runs tonight, March 28 through to Sunday April 6 with performances Wednesdays through Sundays at Toronto's Betty Oliphant Theatre.
